It’s not every day that I get to take a step back and shed a tear as part of a wedding party. In fact I’ve only done a few times in my life!

This past weekend I had the honor of being the Best Man to witness my life long best friend of 30+ years, Jordan, marry his lovely wife Amanda. I was able to be completely present as our trusted team of photographers; Tiffany and Sydney had Jordan and Amanda’s backs the whole way through.

It was a little strange being on the other side of it all, but I am beyond grateful to have lived the experience. Jordan is a man of honor, creativity, gentleness, and culture. He’s always been there for me through the ups and downs of life. When he met Amanda I knew she was “the one” as they share the exact right amount of things in common while being totally different people who balance each other. I think you’ll see the joy they both bring to each other and the people in their orbit, radiating from these images.

Thank you to Jordan and Amanda for always being such supportive and kind friends, and to my team of Tiffany and Sydney who I know I can trust in any situation!❤️

March has come back around and got us thinking about Purti and Dwight’s day at Park Loft last year.

The emotions ran deep from the very beginning. Family members wiping tears during the ceremony, genuine moments of joy that had nothing to do with the cameras. You could feel how much this day meant to everyone in the room. The dancing started early and never really stopped. This crowd knew how to have a good time, and they brought that energy to every single moment.

Melissa & Kyle’s wedding at Park Loft this past weekend marked the start of our 2026 wedding season, and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to kick things off.

From the moment the day started, they brought such a warm, joyful energy with them. They were an absolute blast to work with, and of course, having their dog make a special appearance made the day even better!

And after week of dreary weather, the skies decided to open up for them and gave us clear skies, warm weather, and a day that felt more like spring than anything else.

If this wedding is any sign of what’s ahead, it’s going to be a REALLY good year!

Melissa and Kyle’s engagement session at Cheesequake State Park gave us my favorite golden light. Warm, glowy, and the perfect backdrop for two people with the best attitude and contagiously upbeat energy.

Which makes tomorrow even more exciting. We get to kick off our 2026 wedding season with them at Park Loft, and we truly couldn’t imagine a better way to start the year.

Jess and Eddie kept the whole day calm without it ever feeling quiet, just easy to be around and easy to photograph. The morning started under a soft, overcast sky and nobody tried to outpace it. A relaxed start led into a traditional church ceremony full of happy tears and the kind of smiles you don’t have to cue. Back at Park Loft, we snuck away for a few moody portraits, then the night opened up into a reception full of heartfelt speeches and stories that had the whole room locked in. By the end of the day, it didn’t feel like two families meeting, it felt like one group that already knew how to be together.❤️

As 2025 came to a close and 2026 is somehow already flying by, I’ve been trying to slow down and really appreciate the moments, and the people, that made this past year special.

Brianne and John wrapped up our season at Perona Farms, and it was pure magic. They showed up fully, they trusted the process, and they surround themselves with people who bring the best energy. That combination never fails.

This work has introduced me to so many incredible people. Being invited into something as important as a wedding day is a privilege every single time, and it’s never something I take lightly. To the couples who believe in us, who welcome us in, and who allow us to document something so personal, thank you. ❤️

Looking ahead, I’m feeling very grateful, and excited, for all the stories still to come and many more amazing people to meet along the way!!

If I can’t be outside soaking up the sun right now, I’ll gladly settle for posting about it instead.🌞 Between the cold temps and hazy skies lately, I’ve been craving those golden, glowy, sun-soaked moments, the ones that warm your shoulders and warm around you in the best way and make everything feel a little slower and softer.

The icicles are practically breaking off my fingers as I type this…and all this freezing weather has me dreaming about warmer days, and weddings like Leslie & David’s!☀️

Their June celebration at Perona Farms had everything you’d want in a Summer wedding: golden light, big laughs and that easy, sun-soaked kind of joy that never gets old.

Leslie & David were a blast to work with, easygoing, genuine, and totally in the moment. The kind of couple that makes me forget I’m working!

More of this energy in 2026 please! 🙌🏻
