Graduation season is here, and this one is for the Littles.

Those tiny hands and small sweet features are no longer walking the Kindergarten halls. They’re stepping into the big leagues now… Kindergarten graduation complete and onto First grade!! What a joy it is to hear their excitement for all the things still left to learn, explore, and discover.

Congratulations, Miss Stella!! Keep shining bright, sweet girl. Your story is only just beginning. ✨🎓

Hi friends!!

I just wanted to pop on here and say how grateful I am for another day. Life moves SO quickly.. the moments, the people, the conversations, the simple gift of waking up... Those are the things worth holding onto!!

I pray this long weekend gave you time for stillness and reflection as we honored the brave men and women Memorial Day stands for. Their sacrifice is something we should never forget. And above all, I continue to pray that one day again we will truly be one nation under God, unified, compassionate, and rooted in love for one another.

Those thoughts brought me to the beautiful LINK FAMILY, who hold such a special place in my heart. Through trials and valleys, they never lost sight of what mattered most: staying unified together through it all. Their story is beautiful, full of strength, grace, and love, and I’m so honored to share a small part in it.

I’m also incredibly grateful that they were again, the winners of the gift certificate I donate yearly to Fairfield Local Schools during the Volley for a Cause game. Being able to serve my community in little ways that can mean something BIG to local families, is one of the greatest blessings of this business.

Thank you all for being here, for supporting this dream, and for allowing me to continue documenting stories that matter so deeply!!

Documenting all these babies so far this year has truly been such a blessing to me!

From first time parents, to growing families adding one more to the bunch and all the in between moments, Shewie, I feel it all.

It’s such a sweet, gentle reminder of how quickly my own family has moved through those baby stages… into the next phase of life. It goes so fast!!

These newborn sessions preserve what time tries to rush past, giving you something to hold onto when your heart feels full and fleeting all at once!

Another reminder that God is always right on time.

All the fun with the VanDerKooi family ☀️🤍

Sweet little Jaylyn never fails to bring the biggest smiles and pour her love onto everyone around her! She truly is the heartbeat of joy in this crew.

We soaked in the warmth of the afternoon sun while capturing all the different family groupings and one of the most meaningful moments? Making sure mama got her boys’ hands back in hers!

She shared that it hadn’t happened like that since they were little 🥹 and those are the words that stick with me long after the sessions end!

It’s the little comments, the little realizations, the full circle moments that remind me just how special it is when the whole family comes together like this.

So grateful to document these memories that mean more with every passing year

Handcrafted costumes, stitched with all the love.. to be captured by me and given in a photo book for Mother’s Day! (Talk about a hard secret to keep 🤐)

Cooper’s milestone session was pure gold from start to finish!!

The biggest smile, the sweetest giggles, and ALL boy with his tools and trucks… every little moment felt like a glimpse into the fun, curious, and love filled world he’s growing up in. Milestone sessions remind us just how quickly time moves and how important it is to hold onto these stages while we can!

I’ve been so incredibly blessed to document milestone after milestone for so many families. Truly, it fills my heart more than I ever could have imagined, to be invited into these seasons and trusted to preserve the moments that matter most!

The Campton family stepped in front of my lens in a season where everything meaningful seemed to meet at once… celebration, legacy, and the sweet beauty of everyday life all woven together. An anniversary that speaks of commitment and a sweet baby boy changing with milestones that deserve to be remembered long after they pass.

What moved me most wasn’t just what was happening, but what it represented. The years behind them. The love that has been tested, strengthened, and chosen again and again. The kind of connection you don’t have to pose, you can feel it the moment you step into it.

As I’ve grown, both in this work and in my own life as a mother, I’ve found myself drawn here more than anywhere else. Not to perfection, but to presence. To the in between moments. To the way a family simply is together.

There are messages that stick with you and then there are the ones that make you stop in your tracks.
After I delivered the Nethero family’s gallery, Lori texted me saying she was in awe… that I captured their souls. And for me, as they are a first time client, I immediately did my signature Tessah happy dance.
💃🏻 😆🙌🏼

Because that right there… that is what I pray for before every single session.

That I would walk in with open hands…
That God would move through me…
And that I would leave having captured more than just photos, but the very essence of who a family is in this season of their life.

I still get butterflies before every session.
Not from nerves, but from anticipation… because I know I’m about to witness a story unfold right in front of me.

And my job?
To take nothing away from what you’re trying to tell…
but to piece it together in a way that lets you see your own life, your own love, your own goodness, just as it is.

Nethero family, thank you for trusting me.

The beginning of a brand new journey for Brady & Tessa, stepping into parenthood SO abundantly, SO beautifully, just as God intended.

From the moment I walked into their home, it was nothing but joy and excitement … the kind you can feel in the air. And when I left, I carried that same overwhelming love with me… a proud friend, witnessing something so special unfold right in front of me.
