Hey there! Let’s get reacquainted! 📸✨
Since I’m officially opening the books for 2026 sessions, I figured it was the perfect time to step out from behind the lens and say hi! I’m Kensly, the face (and the messy bun) behind Kensly Jett Photography and KJ Shots.

I’ve been freezing time for 15 years now! Whether I’m knee-deep in a creek for a mini-session or sprinting down a sideline to catch a game-winning touchdown, I love every chaotic second of it.

☕ A Little About My Life:
The Better Half: I’ve been married to my favorite guy for almost 19 years! ❤️

Mom Life: I have 3 kids of my own who keep me on my toes. They are my "why" and the reason I know just how fast these years disappear! 🏃‍♂️💨

Always on the Go: If I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me at a ball game, a wrestling mat, or a basketball court... haha just kidding, I usually have the camera in hand. I truly never stop—I’m a firm believer that the best moments happen when life is moving fast! 🏀🤼‍♂️

School Days: Working with High School students daily is my secret weapon. It’s why I love Senior sessions and sports photography so much—I speak the language of "teenager" fluently. 😂

What a privilege it was to spend time on a local farm recently as the soybean harvest is in full swing. I got to ride along in the combine—it was an incredible experience!

Seeing the process firsthand gave me a powerful new appreciation for the men and women who feed our communities. They are some of the most dedicated and hardworking people you will ever meet. This is their moment, and they pour their hearts and souls into it.

As the season changes and you see farm equipment on the roads, please remember to slow down, be patient, and give them the space they need to move safely.

Let’s all take a moment to send a huge THANK YOU to our farmers for their tireless work! We wouldn't have our dinner tables, our clothes, or our communities without them.
