Hoping you had the absolute happiest of holidays ♥️

Every year my husband and I wrangle all of our animals and attempt (emphasis on attempt 😂) to take a picture with everyone by our Christmas tree.

Bonus Points: If you can spot all 4… yes 4 🤣 of our animals this year!!! 🐈‍⬛ 🐈 🐈‍⬛ 🐕

This tradition started around the time we moved to Virginia when traditions felt necessary as we were establishing a new life in a new state and desperately trying to make it feel like some. That year was the beginning of Christmas pajamas and going all out when decorating and we didn’t know it then but it was the beginning of something so special.

Every year I tell myself “This year we’ll take out my camera and I’ll do my hair and makeup and we’ll be put together for the picture” and every year it never happens.

But maybe that’s the point.

Maybe sometimes all you need is your iPhone and your pajamas and a moment to capture the chaos that is your actual everyday life… and if even that seems too difficult at least you always have me 🤗
