🇺🇸✈️ Fresh from the paint shop and looking absolutely stunning!
United Airlines Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner N91007 in the gorgeous Stars & Stripes livery just landed on runway 01L at Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) 🇺🇸
after operating flight UAL3870 from Amarillo (AMA) on June 15, 2026.

This was her very first flight post-paint — and she did not disappoint!

Captured on 07 March 2009, this shot takes us back to the days when Republic was operating a good chunk of the US Airways Express flights out of DCA. The Embraer 170/175 family was a workhorse in this region — efficient, quiet, and perfect for the short hops up and down the East Coast.

✈️ 🔴⚪️⚫️ Taking a trip down memory lane with this Northwest Airlines DC-9-31 (N9338) on final to DCA runway 19 back on a cloudy morning in March 2009.
Built in 1969, this aircraft flew for Northwest for many years before joining the Delta fleet and was eventually retired and scrapped in Sanford, FL in 2010.
The DC-9 just had that classic look and sound that aviation enthusiasts love. Who else remembers flying on these workhorses back in the day? Drop your memories or favorite classic jet in the comments! 👇
