As we bid farewell to the Lufthansa A340-600 age, I want to share one of my favorite sequences featuring this iconic aircraft. This day the dusk sky color was wonderful, switching between pink and purple. Now, I am heading out to witness the final A346 flight to IAD

Remembering the original American Eagle 🦅 ("Eagle Flight")

✈️ American Eagle Airlines 🔴🔵⚪️ Embraer ERJ-135LR N705AE, on final approach to runway 19 at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) 🇺🇸on 02 January 2009. Aircraft sent to storage in December 2009 and presumed broken up a few years later

This is TRUE visual separation between these seaplanes, arriving at the Vancouver Harbour Flight Centre (CYHC), the busiest water aerodrome in Canada

Both DHC-3 Turbo Otter seaplanes are operated by Harbour Air. First we see C-FHAD, followed by sibling C-FRNO, on a hazy afternoon on 16 September 2023

✈️ Mesaba Airlines Saab SF340B N418XJ, boarding our flight at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) for our US Airways Express🔵⚪️🔴 flight to Washington Dulles (IAD) 🇺🇸 on a horribly scorching evening on 20 July 2011

It was 105 degrees 🌡️ in NYC that day, and we had to sit inside this aircraft with the door closed and no AC until the engines started
