The easiest lighting trick? You’ve had it this whole time!

Seriously, just use your hand.

•hold out your hand in front of you at eye level
•turn your body slowly in a circle and watch how the lighting changes
•pay attention to the shadows. If they look dark and harsh, keep turning
•when your hand looks evenly lit and natural, stop right there
•put your subject in that same direction and start capturing the memories!
