Yesterday my heart was so full watching our son Isaac receiving his senior awards from South Jones High School. We are so proud of the young man he has become. He has a bright future ahead, and I truly believe God has great things prepared for his life.
But this post is not just about celebrating Isaac’s accomplishments. It is also a wake-up call and encouragement to parents. The investment you make in your children from an early age truly matters. Teaching them, guiding them, praying for them, correcting them, supporting them, and leading them toward God will one day produce fruit.
The Bible says:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6
As parents, we are shaping hearts, character, discipline, and faith every single day. The seeds planted in childhood will eventually grow. One day you will look back and see the fruit of all the love, prayers, sacrifices, and intentional teaching you poured into your children.
I am thankful to God for Isaac, for his hard work, and for the people who helped guide him along the way. We love you, Isaac, and we are excited to watch you step into this next season of life.
