46. 🎂

Another trip around the sun… and looking at this picture, I have to say—I think 46 looks pretty damn good on me. 😎

But this birthday means more to me than just getting another year older.

Life has taken me places I never expected. I’ve won. I’ve lost. I’ve laughed until I cried, and I’ve had days where just making it to tomorrow was a victory. I’ve watched people come into my life, watched some leave, and learned something from every single chapter.

So today, I just want to say THANK YOU.

To my family, my friends, my followers, and everyone who has loved me, checked on me, prayed for me, laughed with me, supported my crazy ideas, shared my posts, listened to my music, or simply reminded me that I wasn’t walking this journey alone—you are part of my story. ❤️

And yes… even my haters deserve a thank you. 😂🔥

Every person who doubted me gave me another reason to keep going. Every obstacle became a lesson. Every roadblock became a stepping stone. You thought you were throwing rocks—I was building stairs.

At 46, I’m not pretending I have everything figured out.

I’m just grateful to still be here to figure it out.

Still loving hard.
Still dreaming.
Still creating.
Still laughing.
Still fighting.
Still ME.

I don't know what Chapter 46 has waiting for me, but I know one thing:

The story ain't over yet.

The pictures may make it look like I’m okay, but the truth is I’m fighting battles most people will never see.

My health has changed my life. My vision is fading, and some days I can’t even clearly see the person taking the picture. But I refuse to let that become the end of my story.

Music is my outlet. Creativity keeps me moving. Staying busy keeps me from sinking into the darkness of sitting at home and feeling defeated.

I’m not asking for sympathy. I’m asking for encouragement, prayers, strength, and positive energy.

I may be hurting. I may be struggling. I may be scared.

But I’m still creating. I’m still moving. I’m still fighting. And I am not stopping.

This chapter will not defeat me.

Watching true skill up close is something different.
A couple days ago I had the chance to photograph a session at Pretty N Pink Salon, and seeing the precision in real time was impressive. The focus, the control with the tweezers, the patience — it’s almost surgical the way she works.
In this session the client was getting lashes and nails done at the same time, fully experiencing the salon treatment. The level of detail it takes to create lashes like this is serious artistry.
These photos capture a small piece of that process — the concentration, the technique, and the beauty of the final result.
