$hutter $cenes from the $addle. I figured I do a kinda Throw Back Thursdays type of post today. These Black and White film images we taken on one of my frequent rides on my Harley-Davidson " Bagger" down to the Las Vegas Strip. I used my vintage Yashica Electro 35 GSN, which was a popular aperture-priority 35mm rangefinder camera produced between 1973 and 1977. I have to always think of the probability of my camera setup when commuting by motorcycle. I hand metered each composition in this set and shot each frame handheld at "box speed". The film stock is ilford HP5 400 Plus. I had these images developed and scanned at the one and only B&C Camera Store in Las Vegas, Nevada. I hope you enjoy and "You gotta ride your ride!" Ride well my friends!

Carbon Merrill #157 during his pre-race routine, focusing his mind, body, machine connection before taking to the Las Vegas Motor Speed Way Road Course. Those of us who operate motorcycles at a high performance level know the liabilities we assume to preform at such high demands.

This was a suprise while behind the lens. It appears that while making a fast pass and spliting between two other riding competitors rider 167 was dismounted from his motor in motion at the starting line of this race during the Apex Assassins Sin City Battle of Champions. I hope the homie is alright and wish a speedy recovery to this race competitor.

These images are actual 35mm film images from my Nikon N75 SLR Camera. No color or exposure corrections made in post processing. Only slight leveling and aspect ratio corrections for the IG 😉 The N75 camera was last produced in 2006. The film stock I used was Fujifilm 400 for these images. This was my first time shooting film for Motorsports-Photography specifically motorcycle racing. I figured this was the time to capture these riders and their motors on track in the heat of competition. Oh, can't forget my fellow Photog's on track either 😉 Im sure they are some of your favorite Photographers too.

Special thanks to B&C Camera Alien Film Lab for the 24 hour film development processing which was lighting fast and beautifully developed 📷 📸 🔥 🔥 🔥
