The anticipation in the moments leading up to saying “I Do” feel like butterflies and being on cloud nine. They’re some of my favorite moments to capture.

My greatest fear as a photographer is missing documenting the details, so my aim is always to slow down, to notice, and to capture. I was sure to document their details shots on one of our grandpa’s old magazines, one of the items typically on display on their coffee table along with some of the paper goods Mare crafted and customized for their day♥️

I love how they slept in & got ready together and that their first apartment was the backdrop for it all. We started the morning with lattes from one of their favorite spots nearby and I handed the camera over to Joe to make sure I was in a shot with my sis— matching pjs and all, just like old times. Seeing her a bride and now a wife has got to be the most beautiful thing.

It’s unreal that this is the first time I’m sharing anything of .simone from the styled shoot at hosted by x last year — this is footage from my first time ever shooting with super8, there’s a first time for everything!

So excited to be sharing this video and for all of the super8 I’ll shoot in the future. I’m quickly falling in love with creating with this new to me art form🤭

This is the rebranding project I’ve been dreaming up for way too long. This is my first website launch after nearly 9 years of doing this.

Lon and Kae Photography was perfect for the season I was in a few years ago… shooting weddings and couples alongside my best friend + husband. But now that we don’t shoot together anymore and he’s not hands on with my business, it looks a little different.

Narrative Photo Co. feels just right and fits what I feel I bring to the table — a storytelling experience. I’ve found my style, my groove, and I’m embracing what’s to come for me and this little photography business. I love this job so much and I can truly say it’s grown with me over the years.

I’ve never been prouder of a project. This has been a long time coming and I’m so exited to be sharing it with you♥️

Thank you to my sweet husband, Joe (Lon). He’s the best encourager and has been on this website journey with me for quite a while now.
