With official permission secured, he set out to reinterpret the Eiffel Tower in a way rarely seen. From a rooftop vantage point above the city, storm clouds parted to reveal a breathtaking sky painted in vivid tones of purple, gold, and crimson.

Have you ever been to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park?

That is what it means to stand at the shoreline of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park — where the planet is still actively writing itself. Where molten lava meets the open Pacific in a collision of fire and water that has been unfolding for millennia. Where the ground beneath your feet is measured not in centuries but in days.

Ocean Fire was made in that moment. Standing on lava barely cooled, a full moon rising behind a colossal volcanic plume, embers erupting across the night sky in a burst of color and raw, elemental energy. The ocean surged below. A lone sand island in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef, surrounded by turquoise water so clear and calm it barely seems real. No noise. No demands. Just the warmth of the sun, the rhythm of the tide, and the profound, healing peace of a place the world hasn't touched.

From the waterfront, with a gale tearing across the harbor and clouds racing overhead, Shore Watch was made in conditions that break lesser attempts. A 30-second long exposure caught what the naked eye never could — a golden glow locked on the Jersey City horizon, the wind-torn sky transformed into sweeping brushstrokes of pink and blue, the relentless energy of the skyline rendered soft, painterly, and breathtakingly serene.
