We’ve officially transitioned from Poppy Photography to Poppy Photo & Film!! We figured this was a good time to introduce ourselves!

We’ve been best friends for the last 13 years and in 2022 we decided to get serious and launch our joint photography business. This last year has been such a blessing to both of us and we can’t wait to see where we’re going to go from here!

A little bit about us/our families!

From Abby:
I’m married to my high school sweetheart connor, who I met when we were 12! We have one little boy named Case & another is on the way coming in March. I was an oncology RN for almost 2 years before making the jump to stay home with our baby & do photography with Karson. I absolutely love being a mom, it has been my greatest calling yet! I’m very into healthy living, cooking, and spending time with my family!

From Karson:
I recently got married to my best friend, Harrison and we have 2 dogs and 2 cats! We dated in high school but went our separate ways before college. We were actually reunited at Abby & Connor’s elopement in Colorado a few years ago and the rest is history! In my free time I enjoy baking, needlepoint and reading. Along with photography, I work part time at Abilene Christian University as a mentor to entrepreneurship students and run an online jewelry store!

From both of us:
We are so incredibly thankful for the people who have chosen us to capture their special moments. We’ve been blown away by the love and support we have received from those around us! We’re excited to add videography into what we offer as a team and can’t wait for the year ahead. We have some sweet, sweet weddings we can’t wait to be a part of.
