✨Senior Sunday ✨

This one feels extra special. I first photographed Elle’s family back in 2018, and over the years I’ve had the chance to capture so many milestones for them — including her older sister’s senior photos in 2022.

And if you’ve ever done a Christmas tree farm session with me, there’s a very good chance you’ve already met Elle. She’s been one of my amazing assistants the past couple of years, helping wrangle kids, fluff dresses, carry props, and basically keep the chaos fun. 🤍

So getting to photograph her for her own senior session was such an honor.

Her Laguna Beach session was the perfect mix of country girl + Orange County beach vibes, and somehow fit her personality so perfectly. Boots in the sand, baby’s breath, ocean cliffs, golden light… all of it.

Next stop: the University of South Carolina this fall for a brand new adventure. ✨

So proud of you, Elle — and so grateful I’ve gotten to watch this chapter unfold over the years. 🎓🤍

I’ve had the chance to photograph his family a couple of times, so getting to document this season for him felt extra meaningful.

From the quiet, powerful moment with his Bible… to incorporating his dirt bike… to bringing in his snowboard—Baron showed up fully as himself. And that contrast? It tells his story so well.

That’s the thing about senior sessions—they’re not meant to fit a mold. They’re meant to reflect who you are right now. Your passions, your personality, your faith, your fun… all of it matters.

There’s something extra special about this one 🤍

This sweet family lives just down the street from me… but the way they found me? Even better. Apparently, I’ve been “known” in a neighborhood moms group chat I wasn’t even part of yet (don’t worry—I’ve since been added 😄). I don’t think I’ve photographed any of these families before, which makes it even more meaningful that my name was passed along.

Truly, word of mouth like that? It means everything.

It was such a joy finally meeting these neighbors in person and capturing this season for them as they get ready to welcome their newest little love. You can already feel how excited (and loved) this baby is 🤍

So grateful for this community, the connections, and the trust you all share with me—it never goes unnoticed.

2016 was our first session together.
And here we are, almost ten years later.

What I love most isn’t just the photos — it’s seeing familiar faces each year, watching kids grow, and feeling that easy comfort that comes from history.

This year we traded crashing waves for docks, boats, and all the nautical Balboa Island charm... beach vibes, just a little different.

I don’t want to be a “one and done” photographer. I want to be the one you call every year. 🤍
