Big Thunder Mountain at night gives you one of the best surprise castle views.

You start by looking at the mountain, then suddenly the castle is glowing in the distance.

That fountain outside Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is doing more than decorating the plaza. 🐀🇫🇷

Disney Imagineers designed this part of EPCOT as a transition from realistic France into the exaggerated Paris of *Ratatouille*.

They even used a Pixar design idea called “crookedology,” with bolder colors and intentionally exaggerated architecture. Then, right in the middle of that fantasy version of Paris, you find a three-basin fountain filled with rats pouring champagne—and Remy standing proudly on top.

It’s basically the moment EPCOT stops showing you France and starts showing you Remy’s France.

The stormtroopers patrolling Galaxy’s Edge have a darker backstory than you might expect.

These are First Order stormtroopers—not the soldiers of the original Galactic Empire.

According to official Star Wars lore, many First Order troopers were trained from childhood, raised on propaganda and known by unit designations instead of personal names.

That’s where Finn came from. Before he deserted the First Order and was given a real name, he was simply FN-2187.

Living with the Land casually drops one of the coolest EPCOT facts.

Those greenhouse crops are not just for show — more than 15 tons of produce grown at The Land are served in restaurants there every year.

Did you know EPCOT actually serves food grown inside the ride?

Before Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez wrote the songs for *Frozen*, they were writing music for a bunch of fish at Animal Kingdom. 🐠

The original *Finding Nemo* movie wasn’t a musical, but Disney transformed it into a stage production with 14 original songs for *Finding Nemo—The Musical*.

The songwriters were the Lopezes—the same team that would later create songs including “Let It Go” for *Frozen*.

And that Nemo music didn’t disappear. Songs from the original production still remain in *Finding Nemo: The Big Blue… and Beyond!* today.

So years before Elsa started singing in Arendelle, Nemo was already giving them a Disney stage.

Those colorful balloons inside The Land have a Disney animation connection. They were designed by Disney Legend Walt Peregoy, best known for his color styling on *101 Dalmatians*. 🎈🐾

Some fireworks moments are loud.

This one felt softer — slow music, fireworks drifting through the sky, and that Magic Kingdom feeling that makes everyone stop for a second.

Which fireworks song always gets you?
