On today’s episode of “sh*t that I shoot for work but you’ve probably got no idea I can do it because I’ve literally never mentioned it” we have interior/real estate/property/whatever the fuuuuuu you wanna call it photography 😂😂 nothing better than slappin the airpods in and walking an empty building looking for compositions. I shot a brand new building in the middle of the night once and it was super relaxing until I realised what I was doing sounded like the start of a Netflix documentary where I went missing 👀😂 the editing workflow is pretty interesting on this kinda photography too because I usually end up stitching a bunch of similar photos together to get each standalone image. I need to check the red tape/NDA stuff on some really cool robotics facilities I’ve shot like this because there’s some Avengers type BANGERS in there but if you don’t see them in the next few days just assume they ain’t for mortals like you and I to see apparently🤷‍♂️😂

Couple RIPPERS from the roll of Kentmere 400 film I shot at the Steel 4 Structures Deeside Dragons Ice Hockey Club vs Hull Jets Ice Hockey game recently 🏒

Pushed the film to 1000 and had to shoot these a very specific way to actually get the photos on my list as I wanted to be directly next to the rink so that meant shooting through the 🍑THICCEST🍑 board of plastic you’ve ever seen (a very valid element during ice hockey to make sure everyone in attendance keeps their teeth👀) which presents alllll sorts of challenges when you’re shooting on film but I’ll yap more about that in the BTS YouTube video & reel later this week.

But yeh nah I am so stoked on these photos! As a general rule anything film photography goes on YouTube first these days but I saw these scans just now and was like “YEH IMMEDIATE POST THA😤”

😇 lil update 😇

If you don’t wanna watch me yap for an extended period of time in the video the long and short of it is that I AM 100% DEFINITELY STILL DOING EVERYTHING THAT I DO NOW. I’m still booking weddings 👉 I’m still taking on new commercial clients 👉 I’m still shooting bands etc but you are gonna be seeing a lot of film photography stuff from me on this account for at least the next few months in line with what’s going on over on the youtube channel. It is all rather exciting but I just wanted to make it CRYSTAL CLEAR that I’m still doing all the other stuff and I’m still very stoked on these things too. Okaaaaayyyy thank u 4 ur time PEEEAAAACE 🫡

Here’s the opening sequence from a RIPPER of a recent wedding film 🤗 brief was along the lines of: “actual real documentation of the wedding day” - MUSIC TO MY EARS BABBYYYY 🫡 I’ve wanted to use Mendelssohn’s Wedding March for bants FOREVER in a wedding film I’ve just been waiting for the perfect moment and as I gazed in awe into this sparkler fireball that could overpower the fkkn sun I knew it was exactly what I’d been waiting for 😂 other highlights in this sequence include the best man stopping a pocket watch at the exact moment the couple said their vows to then gift said pocket watch to them during his speech… a lovely gesture until he realised it was still moving and yes that is me you can hear pi***ng myself behind the camera. The fact the footage is remotely stable is a miracle😂👌 what a superb day out✌️

This is John 👆 John entered his wedding ceremony equipped with a lightsaber, a rather fetching cloak and some majestic Star Wars bangers playing over the speaker system. I particularly enjoy photo 3 in which John can be seen brandishing his lightsaber enthusiastically towards the father of his now wife moments before the ceremony. It goes without saying that I fukkn love John 👏😂 manifesting more of this kinda tomfoolery in 2026 plssssss 🤞

also I shot a loooooot of film at this wedding particularly in the evening (I’m looking at u bridal party👀) so we’ll have some of that next I do believe 🤗

I’ve (very happily) spent the last 5 years or so making a living outta making things for other people and it’s really cool to now have a legit part of the business that’s dedicated entirely to stuff that I just wanna make because I wanna make it. What a time to be alive 🥲
