Stop measuring your life by how far you still have to go. Sometimes you need to look back and respect how far you’ve already come.

There were things I once prayed to survive that barely cross my mind anymore.

There were situations I thought would break me that ended up teaching me.

There were doors I was disappointed to see close that I now understand were never meant for me.

Life won’t always give you immediate answers. Sometimes understanding comes later.

So give yourself credit.

You’re still here.
Still learning.
Still becoming.
Still finding reasons to keep moving forward.

Don’t let your desire for the next chapter make you disrespect the progress you’ve made in this one.

You may not be where you want to be yet…

But thank God you’re not where you used to be. 🙏🏾
