Getting recognized by Adobe for World Photography day a couple of years ago will always be a highlight for me. I had been using their products for 10+ years before receiving these messages from the Adobe and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom’s social media teams to feature my work on their pages. For me, it’s always a reminder to the kid in me that fell in love with photography in the small town of Orange, TX, to never stop taking photographs. The desire to travel in order to take photos has taken me to some of the coolest places and allowed me to meet some of the coolest people out there. I really do love this stuff.

The first photograph was taken in Los Angeles on top of one the tallest skyscrapers in the city. That experience in itself was a dream come true. It was also shot on 35mm film.

The second photograph was taken in Huntington Beach. I moved there not very long after I got out of the Army to go to school for photography. I’ll never forget how much I got to shoot within the nearly two years that I lived there. Yet another dream come true.

Louisiana In Black and White, a project that I have been working on this year. I chose to shoot the photos in monochrome in order to display the mystical appearance that Louisiana has. The goal is to have a gallery showing and even a publication in the future.
