I first met Perri when she was *mayyybe* two years old. And then recently have gotten to see her a bit more as she’s working with my friends at Everbowl!

Her mom is one of the amazing women who have encouraged me at different points in my life, and I was so thrilled when Jen reached out to me about doing these photos to celebrate Perri’s impending graduation. 🥺

Perri is doing an awesome internship with a local media agency this year and has great plans to work in digital media. I loved talking with her about this and hearing her hopes and vision for the future. She’s gonna go far!

Can’t wait to share more from this session.

Solomon’s Island! We’ll meet at the boardwalk and I’ll drop a pin for the lucky winners to know exactly where to meet me.

*4 FREE FAMILY SESSIONS?*

One of my FAVORITE session types that I've been able to offer over the last few years has been mini sessions.

Whether it's for the purpose of celebrating a milestone or simply documenting a season, I love knowing that 1. you'd choose to remember it in this way, 2. you'd hire me to take these photos and 3. I personally get a chance to get to know you better and hear little bits and pieces about your family along the way.

My mini sessions are only 20 minutes long, and I execute them simply and intentionally. Let's be real...your toddler Is really only going to give you their best (on command) for about that amount of time. And no disrespect to the fellas but....he really can only pretend that y'all spend all this family time sitting in the grass for so long. ;)

SO, I am really excited to kick off my Summer season by giving away a 100% discount on FOUR separate mini sessions, for four families (or couples!).

These will take place in Southern Maryland (location to be announced TOMORROW) on July 6th, all during golden hour!

I love when families specifically request black and white images in their edits.

I have always loved what's classic about black and white, it's like it takes away the "clutter" (and I say that lightly because I love color and texture and movement and expression)...but it's like the black and white just makes you see the people. The love. The treasured memories.
