I hardly ever share preview galleries, but HOW AWESOME ARE THESE TWO?! ✨

I had the honor of capturing the wedding of Lord and Lady Candra this past weekend, which meant getting to return to one of the most magical places right here in my own backyard, Ancient Lore Village! 💚

Swords, crowns, archery, books, and a woodland ceremony. I don’t think I could have asked for a more fun wedding to photograph! Paige and Cole put so much of themselves into their day, and I loved getting to be part of it.

Man y’all, I freaking SUCK at posting consistently. 😂

But I’m still here. I’m still photographing weddings. I’m still obsessed with making pretty things for people in love. And I am VERY MUCH still booking 2027 weddings. 💚

I have approximately 8,000 photos I could post at any given moment, immediately get decision fatigue trying to choose one, and then forget I was supposed to post anything at all.
(It took me 20 minutes to pick the pictures for this post.)

And please know this absolutely does not translate to my client care. 😂 My booked couples hear from me. I keep up with their weddings. I answer their questions. I plan with them. I genuinely love getting to know the people who trust me with their day.

Social media, though? Social media stresses me out.

ANYWAY, here’s just a few of my favorites from the Stephensons’ wedding last fall at The Barn at Havenwood | Events because these gorgeous photos have been sitting there waiting for me to remember to promote my business.

So consider this your reminder that Liminal Bloom Photography is alive and well, and I would LOVE to take on more weddings in 2027.

The pretty ones are important. Obviously. I mean, look at that view. 😭

But sometimes my favorite photo is the one that happens three seconds later.

When you stop thinking about the camera, break the pose, and start laughing with your favorite person.

That’s the sweet spot for me. A little direction when you need it, then enough room for you to actually be yourselves.

Beautiful enough for the wall.
Real enough to feel like you. 💚

Consider this my official promise that I will not leave you wondering what to do with your hands.

And then I want you to forget about me for a minute and just be together.

I don’t think beautiful wedding portraits have to mean standing perfectly still and holding a pose. Sometimes it’s just a little direction, good light, and enough space for two people to actually be in love with each other.

Arielle and JP made that part pretty easy. Look at them. 🥹💚

A festival-themed wedding? Yeah, you don’t have to ask me twice. 😂💚

Annie + Nic’s whole day was so completely them.

Rugs layered through the grass. Wildflowers along the riverside. Bunting, tents, muddy wedding shoes, kids running around, a golf cart getaway, and everything glowing once the sun went down.

I’d already gotten to photograph these two for their engagement session, so by the time their wedding came around, it felt less like showing up to photograph strangers and more like getting to document the next part of their story.

And while I will always be over the moon about beautiful portraits, I love all the little in between pieces just as much.

The ridiculous laughter. The muddy shoes. The people you love doing their thing in the background. The stuff that happens somewhere between everything you actually planned.

Annie + Nic made a wedding out of the things they loved instead of trying to make their day look like anyone else’s.

And yeah, those are absolutely my kind of weddings. 💚

Also, a little congratulations to these two as they get ready to welcome the newest addition to their family. 🥹 After getting to know you both through your engagement and wedding, I know you’re going to be the absolute best parents.🩵

But I couldn’t resist sharing a little October magic. 🍂

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of East Tennessee in the fall.

I was looking back through old galleries today and found myself lost in Tori and Kate’s.

Like most artists, I usually revisit older work and immediately start thinking about what I’d do differently now.

This wasn’t one of those galleries.

Maybe it’s the way Wildflower Farm glows as the sun starts to set. Maybe it’s the greenhouse. Maybe it’s the mossy woods. Or maybe it’s just these two and their out loud love.

Who am I kidding? It’s all of the above. 💚

Last fall, Luke and Britnee were married at Chapel in the Hollow.

Before they headed to their reception, we carved out about an hour for portraits and private vows along the Foothills Parkway. Sometimes that’s all you need. One quiet hour, beautiful fall color, mountain views, and the chance to slow down together before the rest of the celebration begins.

Looking back through these photos reminded me why I love documenting wedding days like this. They’re simple, intentional, and full of moments that matter.

It also feels like the right wedding to share as I ease back into work after maternity leave. Thank you for your patience and encouragement while I took time to welcome our newest little bloom into the world. 💚

I’m looking forward to sharing more weddings from the past year and meeting the couples who are planning their 2027 celebrations.

Our newest little bloom arrived. 💚

LJ joined our family on 5/28 at 2:19am and we’ve spent the last few days soaking in every newborn snuggle, sleepy smile, and the beautiful chaos of becoming a family of four.

Thank you so much for all of the love, patience, and kindness as I step into this new season.

A little update for my Liminal Bloom couples and future couples:

I’m still officially on maternity leave and giving myself this time to heal, rest, and be present with my family. I’ll slowly start checking emails and responding to inquiries sometime next week, so if you’re waiting to hear from me, I promise I’ll be easing my way back in soon.

For now, I’ll be over here soaking up these little moments I’m always reminding everyone else to hold onto. 💚

It’s been a little quiet over here.

I just sent off previews from a wedding at the Knoxville Zoo and I don’t think I’ll ever be over it.

Rhinos. Giraffes. The sweetest details tucked into every corner.

Getting to photograph alongside the amazing coordination team there and spend time in their new reception space, The BARn, was really beautiful.

This was my last wedding before I step into maternity leave next month, and doing this at 8 months pregnant felt a little surreal in the best way.

Getting to document days that feel this personal, this intentional, this them… it’s everything 💚

I’ll be stepping away for a bit soon, but my 2027 calendar is open when I return.
