What a beautiful engagement celebration at Nichols Heir here in the Smokies!

Such a beautiful day celebrating Ines & Kaio.
I'm so grateful I had the honor of capturing your wedding and witnessing such a meaningful celebration. One of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer is experiencing different wedding traditions and cultures.

I’ve noticed something after photographing so many weddings…

The little things are usually what make the biggest difference.

Not the flowers.
Not the dress.
Not the expensive details.

It’s the things no one warns you about.

If you’re getting married in the summer, your makeup may look completely different after a few hours. Sweat, happy tears, hugs, and heat are real. Invest in a makeup artist who knows how to create long-lasting bridal makeup—not just beautiful makeup.

Hair matters just as much. If your hair doesn’t hold a curl on a normal day, your wedding day isn’t the day to hope it magically will. Talk to your hairstylist about products and hold. A little extra hairspray can save your hairstyle through the entire celebration.

One thing I notice at almost every wedding: a great coordinator is worth every penny. They keep the timeline moving, solve problems before you even know they exist, and allow you to actually enjoy your day instead of answering questions every five minutes.

And bridesmaids… your job isn’t just to look beautiful in photos. Help the bride. Fluff her dress. Carry her bouquet. Fix her veil. Grab her water. Keep her lipstick nearby. Those small acts of kindness make a world of difference.

After photographing so many weddings, I’ve learned this:

The most beautiful brides aren’t the ones with the biggest budget.

They’re the ones who are present, supported, and able to enjoy every moment.
