I’m gonna tell this story. It started a long time ago. One of my first clients became a friend and she did things for me I did things for her so a lot of sessions I ended up doing for free. 2 years ago I was doing cookie decorating sessions for I believe $150. I told her I couldn’t do them free and said she had to give me like $20 for the cookies. I asked her to push the session up an hour because something came up and she threw a fit. Then she wanted another session when I was supposed to be in Georgia for my Photography Workshop. She said I was purposely not doing her sessions which was not the case. I told her a lot of photographers would not do free things and even the prices I charge they would probably charge more. She apologized and we haven’t talked much since… FAST FORWARD TO TODAY she asked me to do a session for her again and I told her my price. She didn’t want to pay me because she just paid a bunch of money for something else. I told her good luck and find someone else. I’m not working for free. If I offer something it’s one thing but when people expect it it pi**es me off. This is how I pay my bills. Please be respectful of my time and my work!

Busy season is right around the corner!

Im already getting inquiries about fall sessions and I’m setting up Christmas sessions! Make sure you get your sessions booked ASAP!

Tree Farm Sessions are October 24th and November 1st. Christmas Micros will be on a Sunday in November (beginning or mid month). I WILL NOT be doing Christmas Sessions in December. For years I was editing right up to Christmas trying to get galleries out. I can not do that this year. I have a full time job and I have kids that I would like to enjoy around the holidays.

Working on an idea for Halloween Shoots. The concept this year is Tim Burton “Mad Tea Party”! Thinking of doing one for 18+ and one for kids. Anyone interested? I can add you to the group! (Price pending because I want to do actual food and snacks for the Tea Party)

Tree Farm Rules:

-Dogs are welcome on a leash as long as they clean up after them.
-We ask that no balloons be used as we have had too many instances of people “releasing” them and then they end up in our fields and woods.
-We do not allow smoking on the property.
