okay HAD to share these two photos side by side! these are from my extended family shoot this past weekend. the top photo was one of the very first ones i snapped. there is nothingggggg wrong with it, but we had just started, everyone’s getting comfortable with me still, one little man was not about it lol, and everyone had maybe a little bit of pre shoot jitters. and then the second group family shot on the bottom was one of the very last photos of the session. we had the kids running around like crazy, some helped me take a few photos, the adults were giggling and everything was super real. literally no “okay now look at me and smile”, just genuine in the moment happiness. it’s so fun to see how smiles change as the session goes and everyone gets more cozy with each other. so just friendly reminder, there is zero reason to be nervous before a shoot, your photo video team willlllll make it so fun and handle all the hard parts so all you have to do is just be in the moment and be yourself.

officially off of maternity leave, which is wild! boe is two months old today, which is honestly even more wild! i feel like ive been out of office for two years and two weeks at the same time. october is seriously an insane month for me, mostly because tj will be gone almost all month. BUT, excited to have some fun with it, and then get into the holiday season when he’s back! two weddings this weekend, the diy rental on its way back, and then immediately going back out again, a mid week shoot, and everything else on top of that. stay tuned cause I’m sure you’ll see me in your stories a lotttt this week
