reminder i’m on maternity leave until october first! im still available for booking and chatting ( tons of you inquiring and booking into nov and dec! ). reminder that oct is already super busy with pre scheduled stuff but i do have room if you need fall photos or brand content! sometime soon ill start thinking about and planning holiday minis which is wild to think about! buttttttt just keep in mind the end of the year is busier for me than normal since we’re taking a couple months off currently to adjust to life with two little dudes. ive seriously been loving my slow mornings and absolutely feral afternoons, don’t get me wrong, but im so excited to see you all so soooooon! enjoy boes newborn photos and the last three slides of bear and boe side by sides cause they’re actually twins

when we ( let’s be real, i, lmao ) started wedding planning, i knew it would look a lot different than the typically cookie cutter day. shooting weddings myself, ive seen everythingggggg. it was lowkey kinda hard to figure out what i DID want, but it was super easy knowing what i DIDNT want.

sooooo! im finally sharing a photo dump from the wedding and all the untraditional things we did that made it feel like us.

for starters, we eloped! we went to the florida keys with our closest family members and just one friend. it was so intimate and i loved it.

we did whatever we felt like the morning of. i wanted to spend the morning looking for shells on the beach, and tj wanted to fish. we spent the morning at the same beach, but doing our own things. some people hung out with me, some with tj, and some bounced back and fourth. i had so much fun in the water with our son, while tj caught a fricken shark!

we brought a photographer friend from home, but it was also her vacation. i wasnt stressed about making a timeline and shot list for her because i trusted she knew what to do. she popped in and out throughout the day and it was so fun when she was with us!

i did my own hair and makeup. as someone who doesn’t love getting her hair styled by others ( im a texture girlie ) and never wears makeup, i did a lesson with one of my favorite artists before hand to at least know the order of application for light coverage. it was important for me to look like my everyday self. but just a little cuter haha

no fancy formal getting ready. bearret and i had lunch in our room just us, and then my sister and sister in law eventually came over and we got semi ready together wearing cutie matchy custom beach tees i designed.

our first look location changed literally in the moment. we showed up to where i wanted to do it, and there was a handyman fixing it up. oh well, we changed courses quickly and that was just fine.

i wore my everyday jewelry, pura vida bracelets lol, in addition to my new wedding band and my belated grandmas wedding ring

when halie reached out, she wanted a handful of designs that could be repurposed as stickers for sale in a vending machine in her jewelry shop but also flipped into prints she could sell as well! these detroit inspired cuties honestly turned out soooo stinking cute I have to pat myself on the back hahah. the mix of pencil texture and my custom bubbly handwriting, so cute. can’t wait to see her customers sporting these asap! be sure to reach out if you need to get on my design schedule before summer ends and to get ahead on fall and winter projects! 🌙🍊📸🍐✨🪻💍 Halie & Co | Jewelry, Candles, Ring Making, Perm Jewelry

maternity leave is officially here and we are on baby brotherrrrrr watch! it’s so fun being in the last stages of nesting, packing our hospital bags, washing car seats and clothes, because I did NONE of that with bear. if you guys remember, I went into spontaneous labor early with him and literally had nothing prepped. so getting to slow down life a little and do all this fun, get ready stuff this second time around is honestly the best. im still reachable going forward and taking design projects ( with longer turnaround times ), but response times will slow down at some point obviously. but you guys can expect me fully back in regular action come october!
