There’s something about autumn light that makes you want to slow down and simply be. 🍂

I love creating portraits that feel like the person in front of my lens — natural, strong, elegant, and beautifully, entirely themselves.

A little moment, a little connection, a memory to keep.

And if you ever feel drawn to having a portrait of your own, I’d be happy to create that moment with you.

A portrait is more than what someone looks like—it's a glimpse of who they are.
I love photographing people in places that reflect their lives, surrounded by beautiful light and meaningful details. My goal is to create images that feel honest, cinematic, and full of quiet stories.
Because years from now, I hope these photographs won't just remind you how you looked—they'll remind you who you were.

Loved photographing Kathleen in the creative space she has built. As the owner of Studio di Rosci, CAFFÈ-PURA and Aria Drip Lounge, she brings passion, creativity, and community into everything she does.I wanted this portrait to capture not only what she has created, but the person and story behind it.

The Hue of Memories II is currently on view at the Chester County Art Association through October 1. I hope you’ll have the opportunity to experience this journey through memory, color, and storytelling.

I took this portrait of my father when I returned to China in 2024.
One morning, he sat quietly waiting for a haircut, surrounded by a wall of collages he had created from old photographs. After a stroke changed his ability to communicate, these images became another language—a way to hold on to memories and tell his story.
This portrait became the beginning of The Hue of Memories II.
I feel incredibly fortunate to bring together an extraordinary group of artists, each offering their own unique voice and vision to explore the colors and emotions of life’s different stages: youth, growth, reflection, and legacy. I’m deeply grateful for their trust and for the beautiful work they are sharing.
A special thank-you to John Baker for believing in this exhibition and helping make it possible.

Opening Reception: Thursday, September 10, 5–7 PM

If this bookstore had a personality, how would you describe it?

Oh man, I would hope that it does have a personality - at least that's always been the goal. Forage is meant to be warm, inviting, curious and open. I hope customers feel that when they walk in - a place that's serious about literacy but also carries with it some whimsy.

Tamlyn's story is on website now, you can check it here: https://intheeyephotography.com/2026/07/23/people-of-kennett-square-2/

The Beauty of Strength

05/28/2026

Today, I photographed Tamlyn inside the quiet world she created Forage Books KSQ — a beautiful new bookstore filled with stories, warmth, and intention. As the morning light moved across the shelves, she shared the journey behind this dream and the love for books that brought it to life.
I’m excited to share more photographs and Tamlyn’s story on my website soon as part of my ongoing storytelling project. Stay tuned. 📚✨ See less
