My name is McKenna Nova Rae, owner of Nova Rae Photography and I want to thank you for visiting my page! I am an obsessive coffee drinker, dog mom, and travel as often as I can to anywhere I can.

Photography has been a passion of mine since I was young, and finally made something of it in 2010 when I started my own business. I am an on location natural light photographer specializing in Weddings, and Portrait photography. My sessions are all about the moment. Capturing reactions, feelings, and the true expression of the soul to have as a keepsake for the years to come.

A few years ago, I was asked to do a birthday photoshoot. But this one was special. This one, was a 100th birthday.
What a milestone.
Never had I, and chances are I never will again get to capture such a thing.
& this month… we had to say goodbye.

The best morning, to the best day. 🤍

Getting ready photos are easily on my top list of things I love to photograph. The makeup, the prefunk, the excitement, and sometimes happy tears with the squad. And let me tell you, this bride had a SQUAD.

DANG. I have taken a longer than anticipated break from posting, and photography in general! I’ve been gone so long the bees came back before I did 😂. A lot has happened the past few months. The biggest thing? I’ve moved! Now that things have calmed down (slightly) I expect to be a bit more connected. Thanks for hanging in there with me! Much love 😘 & happy
