I am honored to share that I was selected as a member of the inaugural class of 30 under 30.

There are moments in business and life that quietly remind you that the effectiveness of what you’re building and how you’re serving is not measured by your planned metrics, by the size of your following, or by someone else’s standard of “success”. I’ve learned to rest in knowing that meaningful, personal impact is the metric. And what a joy it is to say that my work as a photographer has had real impact. I see it, I hear it, and honestly, I truly do feel it!

All cards on the table, there have been several moments in the past few years that left me wondering if I should hang up my business hat altogether, but moments like these remind me that I’m not laboring in vain. Peaks and valleys are SO normal, but they don’t have to be authoritative. I can continue to show up honestly, authentically, and with a heart ready to serve, despite the season I’m walking through.

The other day, I was in Target, and a woman came up to me and said, “I’m not sure why I feel led to say this to you, but God sees you, and He loves you”. Cue me tearing up in the produce section, haha! Because what she didn’t know is that I was in the middle of a moment of overwhelm, and needed some encouragement.

So if this selection is anything, it’s a reminder that what she said is true. God sees me. And the beautiful part? He sees and loves you too.

Honored and humbled today.

Not a guest left the floor from the time it opened to the time it shut down. They danced on money, sang every word, and spent the whole night going all out for two people who completely earned it.

This is what it looks like when a room is full of people who genuinely love the couple at the center of it. Hanna and Kanie’s reception set a bar I still think about.

Send this to a person who you can’t wait to dance the night away with exactly like this!

Editorial, stylish, and completely them.

Kaycie and Michael’s engagement session through downtown Houston was the kind of shoot that just flows — cover-ready and completely natural at the same time.

This city knows how to show up for a love story. Can’t wait to celebrate these two in October with the team at !

Some details are easy to walk past. This one stopped me.

There’s a particular softness to the moments before a wedding day fully begins — flowers still fresh, light still quiet, everything exactly as it was meant to be before anyone else arrives to see it.

✨️ The future Mr. and Mrs. Popkowski ✨️

Spending an evening with these two in the Rice village area was nothing short of magical. We managed to avoid all large crowds by tucking away on a back street, allowing us to capture their genuine love without any major distraction. But I'm convinced that they wouldn't have even noticed anyone else there because they were so focused on each other! 🥹

While there may have been some questions of "will I look awkward?", or "where do I put my hands?", I was able to jump right in and create an experience that allowed them to be fully present. And by the end, we all were talking about just how much fun the evening was together!

Cannot wait to capture their wedding day story. Here's to the future Popkowski fam! 🤍

I have a feeling this won’t surprise anyone, but I’m pretty convinced I’m going to be a boat dad one day.

There’s just something about being on the water that changes everything. The pace slows down, conversations feel easier, and the noise of the day kind of fades into the background.

And honestly, that’s the same feeling I’m always trying to create during a session.

Not something rushed. Not something overly posed. Just space to be present, to enjoy each other, and to actually experience what you’re in.

This evening in Dallas felt a lot like that. Out on the water, the light softened, the movement slowed, and for a second it felt like nothing else mattered.

Those are the moments I’m always looking for. The ones that feel like real life, just a little more intentional.

So yes, one day I’ll absolutely be out there with a boat, probably insisting everyone takes a sunset ride…

But until then, I’ll keep building sessions that feel like this.

If that sounds like your kind of pace, I’d love to create something like it with you 🤍

At the beginning of a wedding day, I’m not rushing in with a camera.

I’m stepping into your space, meeting your people, soaking in the energy of the morning, and getting a feel for what the day already holds.

Then, for a little while, I disappear. Not in a mysterious way… just in a “give me a minute, I’m about to make something beautiful” kind of way.

I gather the pieces you’ve chosen with intention. Your shoes, your florals, the textures and details that quietly set the tone. And then I start building. It's my creative warm-up, but honestly, it’s one of my favorite parts of the day. Because these details aren’t just things.

Details are the opening chapter of your wedding story. And when I give them the time and care they deserve, you walk away with images that feel layered, intentional, and fully reflective of your day before it’s even begun.

And that’s just the beginning 🤍

This is the beginning of a weekly series called "5 Date Night Questions" created by a wedding photographer who wants couples to breathe a little deeper as they embark on their marriage journey. It was birthed out of my background in counseling, my heart for intentional relational investment, and my high value of the covenant of marriage.

This might be the most taboo thing to say as a professional in the wedding industry (especially one who LOVES a beautifully curated set of details), but wedding weekends do in fact have to come to an end. Plates and napkins will be returned, cakes will be eaten, and your people will all eventually head back home. However, what lies on the other side of your celebration is a fruitful, life-giving marriage that deserves preparation time.

So whether you're currently engaged, or you know someone who is, this is for you! Save this post for your next date night, where you step away from wedding planning and toward investing in a meaningful marriage.

Cheering you on. 🤍

Travel wedding days truly do light my heart up! Throughout this downtown Milwaukee wedding day, I chased the little design whispers and the big, unexpected laughs in equal measure. And one thing about me is that I will always keep my eyes out for both! The result was a gallery that feels like the city, the couple, and the people who adore them—elevated, sincere, and a little bit playful.
