Grandkids visiting is a wonderful reason to have portraits made.

I've had the pleasure of watching these two grow and change through the years so not only was it great to work with them, their session was made more special because we photographed in and around their grandparents' garden.

Portraits don't need to be fussy--they just need to be authentic.

It was this family's first time having professional portraits made of their son and they'd asked if they could bring a couple of outfits to the session--that's always fine with me.

After we did portraits with him clothed I suggested we do some of him in a diaper cover to show off all that glorious baby boy skin.

This little guy was EXCITED to be here for his one year portraits and took to the stairs like a fish to water. He had a ball climbing up them then down them over and over again.

It's so fun to see kids gain confidence in a new skill even as they're in the middle of a photo session!

She's on month nine of her Baby Plan portraits doing all the things a nine monther does--crawling, smiling, cruising, and being an adorable little baby.

Acting, singing, and modeling auditions are all reasons your child may need a headshot.

These kinds of portraits often have very specific requirements--close on the face, various angles capturing the face and body, sometimes full body, sometimes not, with a smile, without a smile, serious, animated, relaxed, excited.

I have several young actors I work with yearly to create updated headshots--changing the portraits as they require.
