Saturday Night was well spent at the rodeo as a family tonight! Our big girly did her first barrel race and had THE BEST time! She was SO nervous, but she and our Koda Bear did so great! We are always so proud of her!

Five months ago, on March 10, 2026, an EF-3 tornado rocked our county. Destruction was everywhere, so many lives were forever changed, and, sadly, some were lost.

Just four months before that storm, I had taken a huge leap of faith and turned my 10+ year photography hobby into an official business. I rented a studio downtown and had just begun putting together my space, learning session after session, and dreaming about what this business could become.

Then, the tornado happened.

Luckily, my family and our homes suffered only minor damage, but the damage to the rental building was a different story.

My studio sustained significant water damage, making the space unsafe and unusable. So, just like that, I found myself starting over at square one.

After weeks of searching for another rental space with no luck, I decided to take another leap of faith—this time investing in our own property and building an accessory building that would become my photography studio.

Five months later, after countless hours and hours of research, hard work, decisions, setbacks, stress, tears, joy, and so much trust… this studio is finally ready to create in. 🤍

I am so, so grateful for the incredible team of people who have supported me—not only in my business, but through these long months. There are so many people to name: my husband, my girls, my parents, my siblings and their significant others, more family and friends, and every single one of my clients.

You have all cheered me on, shared in my excitement, helped when I needed it, and believed in this dream with me.

This journey has been full of excitement, but it certainly hasn’t come without its share of tears, stress, and moments where I wondered if I was absolutely crazy for taking this on.

But standing here now, looking at this space that started as nothing more than a sketch on a scrap piece of paper, I know it was worth it.

A dream interrupted became a dream rebuilt.

I cannot wait to fill this little space with your families, your tiny babies, milestones, love, laughter, and memories that will be cherished for years to come.
