ONE YEAR. 91 SESSIONS. SO MUCH GROWTH. 🤍📸
A year ago, I decided to really invest in myself and this photography business, and WOW… what a year it’s been! 🥹
91 sessions booked, so many new faces, and SO much growth in my work. All while being a full-time mommy, a labor and delivery nurse, a volunteer bereavement photographer, and running a second small business with my family. 😂❤️
I get asked all the time, “How do you do it all?” And honestly, the answer to that is a work in progress. But the other question is WHY? Why keep adding more to an already full plate?
And honestly, this year has been about so much more than numbers.
Photography has always been something I do for my wonderful clients, but also for ME. 🤍 It’s my creative outlet, my happy place, and a little piece of my life that’s just mine. And I have loved making more time for it.
Life has a way of changing you, shifting your perspective, and reminding you what really matters. For me, photography has become a way to slow down, notice the good, and find beauty in the little moments we might otherwise overlook.
As a labor nurse and family and bereavement photographer, I’m trusted with people’s stories during some of the most meaningful, vulnerable, and sometimes heartbreaking moments of their lives.
I get to witness and help people find their strength and bravery. I get to help people feel seen, supported, and cared for. And through my camera, I get to preserve the love, connection, and little details that someday may mean more than words can explain.
I think that’s a big part of why I love what I do so much. I know how precious the good moments are. I know how much the little things matter. And I love having a reason to look for the beauty in this world and help other people see it, too. 🥹🤍
This past year, photography has helped me grow, rediscover parts of myself, and make room for something that genuinely makes me happy. I’ve invested in myself, pushed myself outside my comfort zone, learned so much about my craft, and become more confident in the work I create.
There have been challenges, stressful days, and plenty of moments when I’ve wondered how I’m going to juggle it all. But I’ve kept showing up, kept learning, and kept doing something I genuinely LOVE.
Looking back at how much I’ve grown, both behind the camera and personally, makes me so proud. I’m incredibly grateful for the life I have built, the family I get to love through it all, and the opportunities I have to do something that brings me so much joy and purpose.
And I know I’m just getting started! 🥹

My calendar is already filling up this next year with more expected babies, more love stories, and more special milestones.
