⏰ 1 DAY AWAY! ⏰

Last year at the 315 Festival, we spent one night dodging rain, covering our gear, and rocking some very fashionable ponchos. By the end of the night, we were exhausted… but every photo was worth it! 😂

With rain back in the forecast for this weekend, we’re hoping for sunshine—but ready for whatever comes our way. After all, we’ll do just about anything for the photo! 📸☔☀️

School’s out, backpacks are packed away, and summer break is officially here! ☀️📚🎉
Before everyone headed off to enjoy their summer adventures, Christina had the pleasure of spending the day capturing all the excitement, laughter, teamwork, and unforgettable moments at this year's Field Day celebration. From races and games to big smiles and cheering friends, it was the perfect way to wrap up an amazing school year!
A huge thank you to the students, staff, and volunteers who helped make the day so special. These are the moments that students will look back on for years to come, and we are honored to help preserve those memories.

Not every day do you see Rosewood Acres Photography diving into wildlife photography... but when a beautiful hummingbird showed up, Christina couldn't resist putting our newest piece of gear to the test! 📸🐦
We are excited to welcome the Canon RF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM Z to the Rosewood Acres Photography lens collection. While this lens will be used for much more than wildlife photography, it was the perfect opportunity to put it to work and see what it could do!
At Rosewood Acres Photography, we're always investing in new equipment and technology to continue delivering the highest-quality images possible for our clients. Every upgrade helps us capture more detail, sharper images, and those once-in-a-lifetime moments that deserve to be remembered.

One of the hardest parts of sports photography?

The point of focus can change in a split second. ⚾📸

In one moment, the pitcher is the story.
The next? The runner breaks.
Then the play shifts to the base, the tag, the reaction, or the celebration.

Action photography isn’t just “clicking the button.” It’s anticipating movement before it happens while your camera is constantly trying to keep up with athletes moving at full speed.

That’s why sports photography can be so challenging . Especially with younger athletes where the action changes direction instantly. Your focus point, shutter speed, tracking, timing, and positioning all matter within fractions of a second.

And honestly? That’s also what makes it so fun.
Freezing moments most people miss in real time is part of the magic. 🔥📸⚾
