I love a theme or a prompt while shooting portraits. It helps guide the creative in a way that limits us… in a good way… to just the ideas that belong.

Monday night through Wednesday morning - St Louis for creative assisting 📸
Wednesday night through Friday - Detroit for commercial directing and photo capture 🎬
Saturday - Run from Kalamazoo to South Haven 🏃‍♀️

Kodak Gold results on the new EOS 1 ✨

Bri was generous enough to take time away from her med school study sessions to come create with me, and I ❤️ her big time.
I had way too many concepts in the original mood board for this shoot, so we narrowed it down for time, and made sure to include this blazer that has been sitting in the back of my closet begging to be used for a craft project.

Soany and Miguel are a couple of engaged cuties who wanted to commemorate their time in Kalamazoo before moving out of state. Lots of memories, and milestones happened here, and it was an honor to get to document that for them.

Soany being a plant lover this time of year really meant the perfect location (and one of my favorite spots in general) was the greenhouse!
