Senior photos are in full swing over here!
Mary knew she wanted hers taken at South Haven, which is one of her favorite spots.
What none of us knew is that day also happened to be the start of the National Blueberry festival, and there were crowds EVERYWHERE.
Well, we love a challenge, and Mary was still a stunner, and the photos are super dreamy regardless ✨

Something special happens when you choose an intimate wedding.
Maybe you host the ceremony in your favorite park, surrounded by your favorite people drinking your favorite wine.
Maybe you get to go to your favorite bar afterwards, and make new memories to accompany the favorite old ones. What you really get is options, time, and more attention to give each other, and those you love.

I think that’s pretty special.

Happy busy season to photographers everywhere! This means I’m probably not sharing nearly as many previews as I want to be, but it’s because I’m making sure my people are getting their photos in time, and it’s only fair to prioritize everyone in shooting order.
That being said, a little window of preview editing time is coming up, and I have plenty of full galleries about to head out.
For example: Elle and Korey being about as majestic as two people can be 🔥

It’s senior season!

We’re kicking off the previews with Teighlor. Her session was the epitome of a moody nature walk, and it was the absolute perfect way to spend a Sunday morning. She killed it, and there are WAY more favorites from here.

Ali and Mikaela’s day was full of intention. As an artist, Mikaela made many of their details, and they both put work and love into each element, from the handmade cake topper, the “guestbook” mugs, and the embroidered hankies for each guest (which were put into use immediately, not a dry eye in sight during the ceremony).

“Prejudice rarely survives proximity” is a quote that has been circling my mind lately.

The more people have contact and connection with those outside of their everyday communities, the more they start to see how much we have in common.

This is just a friendly reminder to allow yourself to see and experience the beauty of people you aren’t familiar with yet. We have so much to learn from each other ❤️
