The best thing about the weather is that it changes the character of every photo. It’s all about perspective.

rain = romance, you know, of The Notebook variety

clouds = soft skin all day and stunning backgrounds in every direction

sun (when we see her) = dreamy and charismatic.

Ashley & Phillip were my first elopement booking of 2026.

There’s something so bittersweet about wrapping up this season, one that came so unexpectedly, and also something so ironic about ending my season with the couple that started it all.

Q: “Is 37 weeks too late for a maternity shoot?”

A: No! The timing depends entirely on your comfort. In my own pregnancies, and for the Mamas I’ve worked with, 32-36 weeks tends to be the sweet spot. You’re still feeling relatively comfortable, your bump is bumpin’, and the end of pregnancy exhaustion hasn’t quite hit.
If you’re getting closer to the finish line, and you’re up for making some magic happen, don’t let the timing deter you! You’ll be beautiful and we’ll have a blast no matter how close you are to delivery.

The helicopter that didn’t go.

Bob & Marlene traveled to Alaska to finally say their vows after 20 years together.

Their plan for a glacier elopement. The plan was for a helicopter. Juneau had different plans.

It might be true - for better or worse, through rain or shine… because without that rain we would’ve missed this magic and these two smiled the whole way through.
