For me life always feels full in the most ordinary ways. Little ones running down the hall. Hearing the deepest shared belly laughs of your favorite people. Sitting side by side with your partner. Kids exploring nature.

These moments, right now, this season of life. These are the moments worth documenting. 🤍

What can you expect when you book a session with me?  First: YOU DO NOT need to know how to pose.  I’m not expecting you to show up knowing what to do with your hands, where to look, or how to make everything look natural.  That’s my job. :)  I will guide you through the session with leaving ample room for moments to happen naturally.   Privacy will be respected.  As I shared in my last post, I’ve made the decision not to share identifiable images of children.  Most importantly, I want your experience to feel like YOU.   I want the people in your life, the connection you have with them, and this season of life documented in a way that you will be grateful for years from now.   If you have been thinking about booking a session, I would love to hear what your vision is. 🤍   With light & love,  Marie

A little behind the scenes on why I’m starting this space over.   If you have been here before, you may have noticed that I took down my posts and made this decision for a fresh start.   Lately, I have been thinking a lot about the little ones who step in front of my camera and the trust that comes with being invited to capture such special seasons of this life. As AI continues to evolve and images become easier to alter, share, and use in ways we can’t control, I feel it’s important to be more intentional about what I choose to share publicly.   I’ve made the decision not to share identifiable images of children.   With this change you may see more little details, images from behind, blurred faces, emojis covering faces.   The way I photograph your families and the galleries you receive will not change. For those that want to see a full gallery, I will still have private example galleries available for anyone wanting to see what a full session looks like before booking.   As a photographer, I love documenting families and preserving all the special seasons of life. At the same time, I also believe in protecting your children’s privacy just as much. I’m a natural light photographer with a love for the little moments, the in-between laughter, all the connections, and the beautiful, imperfect things that make your story uniquely yours.

For me, photography has always been about more than just taking pictures. It’s about preserving the feeling of a moment. The way your little one reaches for your hand, the laughter you share with your favorite people, or the season of life you wish you could bottle up and keep forever. My hope is to create images that bring you right back to those feelings, even years from now.

Whether you’re celebrating a growing family, a new chapter, or simply want to capture life as it is right now, I want your experience to feel easy, genuine, and fun. No pressure to be perfect, no need to know what to do in front of the camera. Just come as you are, and we’ll create the magic together. ✨
