I BOUGHT A LADDER AND FOR SOME REASON I FEEL USEFUL....

I’m a new man, a motivated man.

I'm moving forward and plan to work on things that simply need to get done. Some call it a "honey do" list, perhaps a chore or maybe an item on a laundry list.......either way, I am focused on the small details. I’m pumped.

Change the batteries in the fire alarm, Switch out inoperable lightbulbs and finally put away the Tupperware that was supposed to be placed in the hard to reach area over the refrigerator. I’ll even remove the lint from dryer.

With that frame of mind, I bought my very own ladder. For the first time, I feel like I have a control of my ability to get things done in my wheelhouse because of this ladder. Now I am ready.

Hmmmmmm. Sigh. The thought of extra chores is daunting.....but today, I feel useful. ( Please cue the music from Chariots of Fire or Rocky)

Now let me off my arse, stop with the Facebooking and get the ladder out of the car...... 😉

In other news, I just found the mint chocolate chip ice cream in the back of the freezer.....let me take a break first and then I'll change the lightbulbs.

LETTING THEM GO

It feels good not having to seek answers that no longer have meaning.

It feels good not wondering “why”

It feels good to finally let go.

If feels good to finally realize that they will never get it.

…. SAD, but True. (Especially with folks you thought were forevers….brothers, sisters, cousins, childhood friends, best friends)

Wish them happiness, but value your own.
