Some stories deserve to be told because of how far someone has come.
Akeba has experienced more loss in his 16 years than many people do in a lifetime. He lost both parents before the age of 10 and his grandfather last year. Despite the challenges, he has turned his life around, and watching him grow into the young man he is becoming has made our family incredibly proud.
