Yall. I have reached a milestone I never could've imagined! My very first newborns and toddlers are coming back to me for Senior Portraits!!!!!!!!!!! Like. WHATTT. Its incredible and emotional and I am so grateful! I am already booking into the spring for upcoming senior portraits for class of 2027 and 2028! In the meantime, a little tiny part of Caroline Coughlin Senior session last Spring!

PARENTS OF CHILDREN AGED 10-16. This is for you! Book the photo session. TRUST ME. Are your boys difficult, do they not want to dress in real pants, does your daughter roll her eyes at you? Trust me . Still BOOK THE SESSION. After almost 19 years in business, I see the pattern clearly. When babies are born, especially first babies, you photographed them every couple of months and when your second child arrives you try to photograph them twice a year. When your kids are turning one and three and five, you're booking the session but once kids hit that middle stage age, that pr***en awkward time. Years where they have braces. The years where you don't love their haircuts. The years were they want a choice in the outfit they're wearing and it all seems too difficult to pull together. The years where you're running from one sport to the next from one event to the next and you just don't know when you can make the time? BOOK THE SESSION. I am absolutely guilty of this myself. I have, thankfully been able to photograph this beautiful woman since the time she was a little girl, but as I was taking head shots for her Miss Senior High Pageant i kept remember this little girl! It was her family's first session with me and I couldn't get over how precious she was luckily we have plenty of sessions from the in between but since I've been in business so long, I'm starting to see my clients. Come back to me now that their kids are seniors and we missed so much time. Let them wear what they want. Let them dress how they are. Because they're gonna be so different a few years from now.

You need a hobby. That's what everybody told me as I was struggling creatively after 18 years in business. But my hobby is photography I said. No ,that doesn't count. They said that's your full-time business that you work 24/7, you need something just for you. If you're on my side of TikTok, you know Needlepoint is the best Granny hobby out there. I started in February stitching every second I could get while I wait to upload a memory card? I stitch. While I wait for images to process? I stitch. Football practice? I stitch. It especially helped to get me through a long recovery. Highly recommend! I chose to share this piece because UF Bid day was this weekend CHI OMEGA , my friends who I met in college are now applying with their own children to UF and the women I met in that house continue to carry me, support me, and love me through life. So many things I could never have appreciated as an 18 year-old kid. So cheers to you Chi Omega Fraternity . For still being such an important part of my life that I'm stitching a Chi O canvas, because canvases are not cheap 💵.

Sidenote:I promise I'm not stitching instead of editing!)
