This week on First Friday we celebrate Ilfochrome/Cibachrome photographic printing that Tom Potter perfected in his darkroom work many years ago. Ilfochrome prints are color prints developed from color slides using Ilfochrome's exceptional paper and process. The Ilfochrome process is known for its image clarity, color purity, and archival properties. Cibachrome/Ilfochrome photographic paper and chemicals were invented in the 1960s and ended production in 2012. It is rare to find Ilfochome prints on exhibit today and they have become highly valued by collectors.
