This time of year we often get calls on calfs that have managed to slip away and stay away from the heard.
They often will find their way back after mom starts to call but sometimes remain missing from being either lost or scared.
The 1st few days are time critical they need their mom for nutrition and their is always the scare of predators learking in the area.
Wilma 🐂 managed to slip away being only 1 day old , family and friends searched the entire evening and throughout the following day. The wheat field they believed she was in was just to tall to get a visual on her if she were laying down.
I arrived later in the evening on the 2nd day and was able to locate her bedded down in the wheat field in 10 minutes nearly 1/4 mile from the farm.
Wilma wasnt to startled as Lexi was able to walk right up to her. 💓

No more camping for you Remlee!🐕

Remlee and her family are camping in North Branch for the holiday weekend , and Remlee decided to take off and get some fresh air while exploring the country side.
Several people had been searching for this little girl throughout the day. One sighting nearly 1/2 mile from the campground where she was spotted running down the rd was the area we decided to search 1st .
While on my 1st set of batteries a call came in , she was spotted not to far away maybe 1/2 mile.
I decided to move to that location instead of just flying over there not knowing exactly where this location was.
After about 5 minutes in the air i was able to locate her running through some fields a good distance off the rd . Definitely visible only from the sky.
I was able to get mom & dad back to Remlee's general location and after a back & fourth now ya see me now ya dont game. I was able to get mom & dad in position to where she was heading right towards them.
After a few playful calls she knew exactly who it was waiting ahead for her. She stopped, stared for a second then came running right at them💕

Hopefully the family can enjoy the rest of their camping experience knowing they won't have to leave without their little girl .❤️
