What an honor it is to travel the world and document the most precious moments of people’s lives. 🤟🏽

This wedding was so incredibly special. It took place on the brides 5th generation family ranch that sits among the mountains near Buffalo, Wyoming. She got ready in the home that her dad ran the halls of as a child, the ceremony taking place in their backyard, where she grew up riding horses… nothing beats that. Seriously, what an honor 🥹

We got to spend the holiday weekend photographing these two saying yes beneath the Sierra Nevadas and I wouldn’t have had it any other way 🤎 D + A had the most beautiful elopement day with their closest loved ones and it was perfect!

The longer I’ve done photography, the more I’ve realized there truly is an art to capturing people’s day. Sometimes we get lucky with the perfect lighting, but also, often times it’s just about SEEING… Anybody can take a picture, but it’s hard to teach creativity, passion, or how to just see things differently. During weddings, I often times just stand there for a sec to observe the flow and figure out what I can bring to the table, and I really feel like that’s a talent that can’t be taught.
