**UNHEARD**

While thousands ran along Ocean Blvd. for the Long Beach Marathon, I saw this man standing on a mound of sand at the ocean's edge.

Shouting at the air, shouting at the ocean, talking to the wind blowing against him.

Something about that moment hit me. Uncomfortable, yet deeply human.

Here's a man clearly struggling with something, standing completely alone while thousands of people were just a short distance away.

There is no price that can be put on mental health.

I wish him the best.
