How quickly a year can pass, and how beautiful it is to remember it. 🤍

Sweet Wally is turning one, and we celebrated with bubbles, laughter, and the sweetest smash cake. Watching him light up the studio with his joy was such a gift.

What makes this session especially meaningful is that Wally is baby number four I’ve had the honor of photographing for this family. From tiny newborn days to this one year milestone, I find myself in awe of the privilege it is to be welcomed back again and again to capture a family’s story as it unfolds.

These are the moments that remind me why I love this work so deeply. The trust, the connection, the fleeting seasons that somehow pass both slowly and all at once.

Thank you for inviting me back, for allowing me to grow with your family, and for letting me preserve these memories for years to come.

This weekend we celebrated sweet Amelia turning ONE 🤍

The softest colors, the sweetest little outfit, and a cake almost too pretty to eat… almost.

Amelia took her time with it—little tastes, curious looks, and just enough mess to make it fun. The kind of moment that feels light and joyful and full of wonder.

And one of my favorite parts… watching her mama gently soothe her, singing softly between bites, keeping her calm and safe in the middle of it all. Those quiet, in-between moments are everything.

This is what one looks like.

You know when you meet people and it just feels easy right away?

That was this family.

So much warmth, so much joy, and so much love for their 7 month old. He had the sweetest expressions the entire time, and you can tell how deeply he’s already known and loved.

There is something so powerful about witnessing a love that doesn’t need to perform…
it simply exists—fully, openly, and without apology.
