Willow Tree Minis will forever have my heart 🌿🤍

The way that golden light comes through those branches + all the snuggles, belly laughs, baby bumps and little personalities… SO GOOD.

And this is exactly why I love minis. You don’t need an hour to create photos that feel like your family. Give me a few minutes, let the kiddos be kiddos, love on your people and I’ll take care of the rest. ◡̈

The O’CONNORS!!! 🤍✨

Phylicia + Jacob’s wedding day was the perfect mix of elegant, colorful, and SO much fun. From Phylicia absolutely sparkling in her beaded gown to Jacob showing UP in that red suit… these two had a vision and I was HERE FOR IT.

The warm champagne + orange bridesmaid dresses, those gorgeous red, orange + cream florals, the guys in tan suits, and can we PLEASE talk about Jacob gifting every groomsman a different pair of Nike Airs?! 👏🏼 Every little detail had so much personality while still feeling incredibly classy.

Venue Bella Giornata was the perfect backdrop for it all — an outdoor ceremony, gorgeous greenery, modern + luxurious spaces, and SO many beautiful little corners for photos.

But my favorite part? These two just enjoying their DAY. The laughs, the little looks, their people surrounding them and finally getting to call each other husband + wife. 🥹

Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. O’Connor!!! Thank you for letting me be a small part of such a BIG day. 🤍

Maevery said forget the milk bath… I’m here for the snacks. 😂🍋

This girl had me CRACKING UP. Give her a lemon and she was absolutely living her best life. No hesitation. No sour face. Just going back for another bite like it was the best thing she had ever tasted. 😂

And can we talk about that giant white bow with those baby rolls?! COME ONNNN. 😭🤍

I love how much personality came through in these. This is why sitter sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorite stages to photograph, babies are curious about EVERYTHING, the expressions are unmatched, and you truly never know what they’re going to do next.

Miss Maevery absolutely nailed her Snack + Shoot modeling debut. 🍓🍋🤍

10/10 would hire again. Payment accepted in lemons. 😂

I might be a little biased… but COME ON. 🥹🍓🍋

Little Scottie girl got to be one of my models for this month’s Snack & Shoot, and her first little milk bath session did NOT disappoint.

The big bow. The strawberries. The tiny toes peeking through the milk. And apparently lemons make a pretty great snack too. 😂

This is exactly why I love milestone sessions so much. They’re simple, playful, a little messy, and completely focused on capturing all of those tiny details and personalities that change WAY too quickly.

And getting to photograph my own baby girl in the studio I dreamed about owning someday? Yeah… that part gets me.

Safe to say I think milk bath sessions need to become a regular thing around here. 🍓✨

SHE SAID YESSSS!!! 💍😭🤍

Lauren was SO confused about why they were walking up to the willow tree… little did she know what Breton had planned. 🥹💍🤍

And THIS is why I will never get tired of photographing proposals. The nerves, the complete shock, the “WAIT… IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING?!” and then getting to capture those first few minutes of realizing you’re officially FIANCÉS. 😭

Therese + Preston 🤍

Their wedding day at The Cheney Place was the perfect combination of beautiful, sentimental, and an absolute PARTY.

From Therese’s pearl-covered gown and the prettiest shades of blue, to the handwritten handkerchiefs she gifted her parents, their day was filled with so many thoughtful details.

And then came the reception. 🪩

The dance floor was PACKED, the glow sticks were out, and Therese + Preston definitely did not disappoint with their dance moves.

One of my favorite moments of the night, though, had a much deeper meaning. The bandanas came out in honor of Preston’s brother who has passed away. Watching their family and friends put them on and celebrate together was such a special reminder that he was still right there with them, celebrating this next chapter too. 🤍

These are the moments I love getting to capture… the beautiful ones, the crazy ones, and especially the ones that hold so much more meaning than you might realize just by looking at the photo.

Congratulations, Mr. + Mrs. Scheurer!! 🥂 What an incredible day.

And THIS is why I will never get tired of doing what I do.

The pretty photos are amazing. The perfectly planned outfits, dreamy light, little details, and beautiful galleries are all things I absolutely love.

But these messages? These are everything.

“LEXIE I’M GONNA CRY.”
“I’m sobbing!”
“You KILLED it!”
“I can’t wait to get these printed and framed all over the house.”

😭😭😭

Knowing that the photos we created together are going to end up framed on your walls, shared with your family, and looked back on years from now is something I will never take for granted.

You’re not just booking me to take some photos.

You’re trusting me with your babies. Your wedding days. Your growing families. Your milestones. Your people. Your memories.

And somehow I get to call that my JOB?! 🥹

So yes… please keep sending me the texts. Send me the all caps. Send me the crying emojis. Tell me which photo made you lose it. 😂🤍

Because I promise you, I’m probably sitting on the other side of the phone smiling just as big.
