These photos have me counting down the days until my Red, White & Cute Minis! 🇺🇸❤️

One of my favorite things about photographing little ones is that no two sessions are ever the same. Some kids are all smiles, some are busy waving flags, some are running in every direction, and some give me those serious little faces that end up being everyone’s favorite photo. 😂

Looking through these images reminded me why I love creating fun seasonal setups. It’s not about perfect poses… it’s about capturing this season of life exactly as it is. The missing teeth, the chubby toddler hands, the shy smiles, the wild energy, and all the little moments you’ll miss someday.

I already know these sessions are going to be filled with laughter, chaos, and some seriously adorable photos, and I cannot wait to see all the sweet kiddos who step in front of my camera. ❤️🤍💙

When your dog clearly understood the assignment better than anyone else. 🐾✨

Meet Kai, the true star of Jessica & Daniel’s engagement session. While we were technically there to celebrate their engagement, Kai made sure the spotlight stayed exactly where it belonged. Between the bow tie, the perfect poses, the puppy kisses, and even helping show off the ring, he absolutely stole the show from start to finish.

And honestly? We weren’t even mad about it. 🤎

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is including the furry family members who have been part of your story from the beginning. These photos are about your life together right now, and for Jessica & Daniel, Kai is a huge part of that story.

There’s just something so special about this season of waiting. 🤍

Erin & Spencer met me at the beach to celebrate the final weeks before they become parents, and these two made my job way too easy. From the quiet moments with their foreheads touching to the laughter as they walked along the shoreline, you can feel just how excited they are to meet their little one.

One of my favorite things about maternity sessions is capturing the anticipation, the way parents already love their baby so deeply before they’ve even arrived. And these two? They are absolutely glowing.

Baby is already so loved, and I cannot wait to see these two step into parenthood. 🫶

From downtown Holland to the shores of Lake Michigan… this engagement session was a dream. 🤍✨

We started the morning exploring downtown Holland, soaking up the quiet streets and beautiful light before heading to the beach for sunrise. And let me tell you… getting up early was absolutely worth it. ☀️

These two were so much fun to photograph. The laughter, the way they look at each other, and how effortlessly they just enjoyed being together made my job easy. My favorite engagement sessions are the ones that feel less like a photoshoot and more like a date night (or in this case, a date morning 😉).

Then we ended the session the best way possible… barefoot on the beach, running through the sand, and getting a little wet in Lake Michigan. If you’ve been debating whether to go into the water during your session, consider this your sign. 😍

I am already so excited to celebrate these two on their wedding day! 💍
