🦁 Congratulations to the Livingston Lions on their HOMECOMING WIN! I was full of emotion last night watching these young men take the field. Most people probably don’t realize that our Jackson played football in Livingston from the time he was 5 until he was 12, side by side with so many of these guys. And during all those years, I photographed every. single. game. 📸 🏈
Last night, I caught myself recognizing them before I could even see a number or a face. I knew who they were by their body language, the way they stood, walked, or ran. 🥹 Same little boys I watched through my camera for all those years… just now in much more grown-up bodies.
So when Cade Randolph messaged me and asked if I would come shoot their Homecoming game, why would I ever say no?! 💚 It just happened to be a bye week for Jackson and the Hornets, and really... what else would I do on a Friday night besides stand on a football sideline with a camera in my hand? 😂
Getting to photograph these guys again, all these years later, was pretty special. Congratulations, Livingston Lions, on the Homecoming win! I’m so glad I got to be back on the sidelines capturing a little piece of it.
