As an Austin proposal photographer, one of my biggest goals is making sure you can stay fully present during the proposal itself. You shouldn’t be worrying about where to stand, whether the lighting is right, or how you’ll remember the moment afterward. That’s my job. I help guide the planning process beforehand so that when the time comes, all you have to focus on is each other.

Katie & Wyatt's wedding was a pure party! There was an epic dance floor, one guest dropping into a full split (still thinking about it honestly), nonstop energy all night long, and a sparkler exit that felt like the perfect ending to a day that never let a little weather get in the way of the magic.

When the Night Owls took the stage at Taylor and Riley’s wedding, the whole energy of the evening shifted. What had been an elegant, beautifully composed wedding turned into a full dance party.

Their guests were on that checkered dancefloor all night, and some of my favorite images from the entire weekend came from those hours. As a photographer, those are the hours I live for. The joy is unguarded, the room is alive, and the images practically make themselves.

I had been helping Louis plan his proposal at Signor Vineyards for weeks, so by the time the day arrived, I was almost as excited as he was. He was nervous in the sweetest way, pacing a little and checking his watch, but the second Sarah walked beneath the vine-covered arch, everything else disappeared. Louis completely surprised Sarah when he dropped to one knee.

After our portraits, they immediately pulled out their phones and started FaceTiming family to share the news. The excitement, the happy tears, and the giant smiles that neither of them could stop are the moments that make proposal photography so meaningful.

Margy and Wilson said their vows on the steps of the sunken garden at Commodore Perry Estate, Auberge Collection, surrounded by some of the most painterly florals I have seen on a wedding day.

Florist Maggie Peterson brought the brief to life beautifully: lush, layered, garden-inspired arrangements building into height at the altar, nothing too tight or symmetrical. Saturated greens from sage to chartreuse, blush pink, deep burgundy, soft coral.
