Okay, I’ll admit it… I was a little nervous going into my very first senior session last night. 😅

But Tucker? He absolutely killed it. 👏🏼🔥

We even toughed it out through the rain, and somehow that just made the session even more fun.

We got this cinematic moment of Tucker sitting on his truck surrounded by smoke…

Naturally, my first thought was, “This looks AMAZING.” 🔥📸

My second thought was, “Wait… Tucker, are you okay?!” 😂💨

But honestly, that’s exactly what I love about senior sessions. Your senior photos should feel like YOU. Love your truck? Let’s include it. Always wearing your favorite hat? Bring it along. Into sports, hunting, music, cars, or something completely unique to you? Let’s make it part of your session.

And while I’m at it, here’s your reminder that senior photos aren’t meant to just live on your phone. These are the years you’ll want to remember, and there’s something pretty special about turning those memories into artwork you can actually see every day. 🤍

🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🌈

Today, I’m remembering a few of the sweet faces I’ve had the honor of photographing who left paw prints that will never fade. Some were with their families for many years, and some were gone far too soon. Every single one was deeply loved. 🤍

One of the reasons I believe so strongly in printing your photographs is because our pets don’t get to stay with us forever, but the memories we make with them can.

One of my clients recently scheduled a session with her senior pup. Sadly, her sweet girl passed away shortly after. What could have been just a collection of digital images became something so much more meaningful. Her family now has beautiful printed artwork of her to keep in their home and remember her by, forever. 🐾

That’s why I believe photography is about more than taking pretty pictures. It’s about preserving the little faces, the personalities, the silly quirks, the gray muzzles, and the love that we wish we could hold onto forever.

To all of the pets waiting at the Rainbow Bridge: you were here, you were loved, and you mattered. 🌈🐾

Happy National Dog Day! 🐾 They say a dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.

This year, I decided to change the way I do things. I moved away from just 'taking photos' to a full-service boutique experience. Why? Because I want you to have finished, heirloom-quality art of your best friend that you can pass down for generations.

🚨 LAST DAY TO VOTE IN SEMIFINALS! 🚨

Today, August 19, would have been my dad’s birthday. ❤️ It also happens to be the LAST day to vote in America’s Favorite Photos to get me to the finals.

I’m currently sitting in 6th, so I’m asking for one last push to see if we can get this photo back to #1. 🥹🐋📸

It would mean so much to me to have something happy to celebrate today, as my dad was a big inspiration for my photography.

Voting ends tomorrow at 7 PM, and if I win, $10,000 would go to me and another $10,000 would go to a charity of my choice, I chose Gordy and Friends, a local nonprofit that helps outdoor pets. 🐾❤️
