I have been traveling full-time for over 6 years and love photography and photographing nature! I have taken nature and wildlife photographs in 47 states and 8 Canadian provinces. I do not always plan my photography, I like spontaneous photo opportunities during my travels. In 2017 I setup my photography booth at 4 shows in Florida Jan-Feb. eatured artist, my eagle photograph "Yellow Eyes" was the 2017 POSTER photograph. Also, my 11x14 3D print "Snuggle Time" in a handmade frame was awarded 1st PLACE in photography. In May I setup my photography booth at the 2017 STOL Air Show in Valdez, Alaska and at the Weekend Market in Anchorage, AK. In August, my photo "Kenai Sunset" won 1st PLACE at the Kenai Peninsula Fair in Ninilchik, Alaska. I do not plan to do any more shows in Florida this year as I am spending my winter in Homer, Alaska. This winter I will be working on reopening my photography website. In 2016 I setup my photography booth at 8 shows Jan-Mar. At Top of the Lake Art Fest in Okeechobee, FL my 24x36 canvas eagle print "Intense" was awarded the JUDGES CHOICE AWARD and my eagle photograph "Yellow Eyes" was awarded the 2017 POSTER AWARD, I will be the featured artist at next year's show and I was published in Heartland Living Magazine (although my name was mispelled) http://heartlandlivingmagazine.com and will be published in Okeechobee The Magazine. At St Stephens Art Show, I was awarded 2nd PLACE PHOTOGRAPHY. I do not plan to do any more shows until fall when I return from Alaska. In 2015 we setup my gallery at 9 art shows in the spring, winning a 1st Place award for my 24x36 canvas print of Pelican Perch and an 11x14 matted/framed Pelican Perch was selected for judging. I then travelled to Alaska from April through the 1st week in September. I have done 1 art show in October in which my 16x20 canvas print of Homer Eagle was awarded the LTC Mike Tryon Memorial Award and I have 4 shows scheduled through the end of 2015. In 2014 we setup my gallery only 9 times since we did a lot of traveling and I shot a lot of new photographs. One of my eagle photos named "Sharing Water" won 3rd place in the Potomac River 2014 American bald eagle photography contest and another eagle photo on 24x36 canvas was selected for judging at the 52nd Annual Halifax Art Festival in Daytona Beach, FL. In 2013 we setup my mobile fine art gallery at 29 art/craft/events/fairs/shows and won an award.
