Bailey and Luke's wedding day at Shadowing Oaks was filled with everything a wedding should be—joy, laughter, beautiful friendships, and a whole lot of love. Their story has been years in the making, and watching it unfold into this new chapter was such a privilege.

The vibrant blooms, the soft spring colors, the laughter of their bridal party, and the way Bailey and Luke looked at each other all day long created pure magic. Some couples simply have a comfort about them, and these two are exactly that—a best friend kind of love.

After years of memories, adventures, and growing together, they finally became husband and wife.

The greenhouse minis were the absolute sweetest. 🌿 These sessions truly brought me back to life.

I’ll be offering greenhouse mini sessions all summer long on weekday evenings and they are perfect for just about everything — mommy + me sessions, updated family photos, Seniors, couples, branding, headshots, or honestly anything your heart dreams up. The possibilities inside this little glass house are endless. ✨

I also open the greenhouse up to fellow photographers for hourly rentals and mini session blocks throughout the season. It’s such a dreamy little creative space and I love seeing other artists bring their vision to life here too. 🌱

Katelyn and Trevor are officially husband and wife, and what a beautiful day it was from beginning to end. Their wedding at Seven Paths Manor felt like the perfect reflection of who they are — peaceful, intentional, deeply rooted in love, and surrounded by the beauty of the countryside they adore as two horse lovers beginning their forever together.

When I first saw Trevor that morning, the nerves were REAL. His hands were trembling as the anticipation of the day settled in, but after a hilarious surprise from his macho-man best friend appearing in a dress, the tension quickly turned into laughter. And the moment Trevor saw Katelyn for the first time, every ounce of nervousness melted away into pure excitement. Excitement to finally marry the woman he loves and begin the life they’ve been dreaming of together.

One of the most moving parts of the entire day was witnessing how centered they are in their faith. Katelyn and Trevor have built their relationship with Christ at the center of their hearts, and now at the center of their marriage. During their ceremony, they shared a beautiful act of humility and devotion by washing one another’s feet — a moment that left hardly a dry eye in sight. It was such a powerful reminder that marriage is not only about love, but also service, grace, and choosing one another every single day.

The entire day felt incredibly meaningful from start to finish — joyful tears, heartfelt vows, sweet quiet moments, and so much celebration surrounding two truly wonderful people. Katelyn and Trevor, it was an honor to witness your love story unfold and capture the beginning of this new chapter together. Your day was beautiful in every sense of the word. 🤍

Hi friends! ☔️

I wanted to hop on and give everyone a quick update regarding tomorrow’s mini sessions. The forecast is currently showing quite a bit of rain along with darker, overcast skies throughout the day. While we can absolutely still create beautiful images in cloudy weather, lighting conditions may not be as bright and glowy as what you typically see from my work.

Because of this, I am offering the option to reschedule your session for next Sunday instead. If you'd prefer to move your session, you can check availability through the booking link in the comments and add your name to the available open spots.

If you’d still like to continue with your session tomorrow, we absolutely still can and I’ll make the best of whatever weather we’re given! 🤍

Either option is completely okay with me — I just wanted everyone to have the choice based on the forecast. Please message me if you have any questions at all!

Ally and Justin are married! These two exchanged their vows surrounded by the rolling countryside of a beautiful Virginia farm, and every part of their day felt so intentional, peaceful, and full of love. From the quiet little in-between moments to the way they looked at each other all day long, photographing their love felt completely effortless. Some couples just have a warmth about them that makes everyone around them feel at home, and that is absolutely Ally and Justin.

Their wedding day was filled with so many meaningful touches, but one moment in particular left everyone emotional. A butterfly gently landed on Ally’s dress throughout the day and later also rested on the reserved seat honoring her Mother who has passed away. It was one of those moments that felt bigger than coincidence — soft, emotional, and impossible not to feel deep in your soul. As if her Mom was finding little ways to remind Ally she was still right there with her for every moment of such a special day. 🦋

The entire celebration was beautiful from beginning to end — the scenery, the emotion, the laughter, the happy tears — but more than anything, it was the kind of day that reminds you what weddings are truly about. Love that feels safe, genuine, enduring, and deeply rooted.

Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. 🤍 Your day was absolute magic, and I feel so honored I got to document the beginning of this new chapter for you both.

The Matsko family had the sweetest session at Dogwood Farms! It’s always such a pleasure getting to photograph families like this and catch up through the years. They are genuinely such kind, down-to-earth people, and their love for one another shines so naturally in every photo.

The wildflowers gave us the perfect backdrop, but the real beauty of this session was simply capturing this season of life together. So thankful for families like the Matsko's who continue to trust me with their memories year after year. 🪻

There’s something so magical about Senior sessions this time of year, especially when they take place somewhere as breathtaking as Dogwood Farms. Endless rows of wildflowers, rolling countryside, dramatic skies and golden evening light made the perfect backdrop for Hala’s Senior portraits, but somehow she still managed to outshine all of it effortlessly.

Hala is the kind of person whose beauty goes far beyond what you see on the outside. She carries such a calm, warm presence that instantly makes you feel comfortable around her, and spending the evening wandering through flower fields with her felt so easy and joyful. Every image feels soft, timeless and full of life, perfectly reflecting this exciting season she’s stepping into.

This fall, Hala will begin an incredible new chapter at Northwestern University as she pursues a career in the medical field, and honestly, I have no doubt she is going to do amazing things. Intelligence, kindness, grace and determination all wrapped into one beautiful human.

Hala, it was such an honor documenting this milestone for you. The future ahead of you is so bright, and I can’t wait to see all the places life takes you. 💛
