Birdie and Stella girls started their 7th and 5th grade years this morning and my mama heart was NOT ready! Not only not ready for them to be growing up so quickly, but also for them to be gone almost all day everyday now (and honestly we all hate getting up at 6am). I’m already missing them and ready to sit and wait in those long pickup lines to get them back home!

I’d love to see your babies first day of school pictures - from today or anytime this year! I’m so proud of all of them ……. and of us parents for making it to another school year!✨

Happy Senior Sunday!!

How absolutely beautiful are these twin sisters?! Aside from being gorgeous, Lauren and Adalyn are both so kind and funny and sweet. I had so much fun hanging out with them for the day and getting to know both of them!

The next set of fall minis that I'll be hosting are going to be held at Blackwood Farm Park in Hillsborough. It's my favorite local spot to photograph families, seniors, maternity, and engagement sessions because it's so beautiful no matter where you go in the park. Down by the pond or over in the fields or up top by the fences, it's all so gorgeous!

These minis will take place on October 18th from 4-6pm, and just like the NCMA sessions, these will be 10 minute sessions that come with a gallery of 10 hand-edited images. I know it seems like a quick session time, but I promise I can get SO many amazing images in just a few minutes. I always prioritize getting your whole family together, then siblings together or with each parent, and then individuals of each family member. And I welcome you to bring your furry family members as well! I love when families bring their fur babies to sessions!

Last night, I posted my minis all as a group and today I’m going to share each one individually so you can see more of the vibe of each day of sessions!

First up are Fall Minis at the Art Museum in Raleigh. NCMA is one of my fave places of all time not only for sessions, but just to hang out. It’s always beautiful no matter what time of year it is, but the fall is when the grounds of the museum are absolutely my favorite!

These sessions will be help on October 17th from 4-6pm. They're 10 minute sessions this year, so no worries about little ones getting burnt out or tired halfway through. And I know it sounds like a short time, but I promise I can get tons of sweet images of your family together and individually in less time than you'd think.

I can't wait to see you all and all of your sweet babies this year!

I am FINALLY unbanned and able to post and share again! Thank goodness! That was a seriously long 3 months!

Sometimes as a photographer, you get the incredible honor to photograph life's most special moments for people you have watched grow up almost their entire lives.

And Kyra's senior sessions have been exactly that. We did the cap and gown part of her session at Orange and it was hard for me not to cry the entire time (and that's the same problem I'm having sitting here editing her session!) because she has grown into such an incredible, smart, compassionate, funny, talented, beautiful young woman. I can barely believe that graduation is this close and in just a few short months she'll be off to Western to start the next part of her journey.

Ash - MAN. We were JUST her age like 10 seconds ago. This cannot be real life right now. I know you're over the moon proud of your girl and I am over the moon proud of both of you. You did it! I love you both to pieces and can't wait to see the all the ways she changes the world!

I had a cancellation for this Saturday and I have the entire day open which means I’m able to offer TWO HALF PRICED sessions on Saturday! Any kind of session is available - senior, newborn, prom, family, maternity, first birthday, milestone - all for studio or outdoors - and all half off!

A day to celebrate ALL of the women in your life - Moms, Bonus moms, Grandmas, Aunts, Nieces, Cousins, Daughters, Sisters, Besties for the resties , Fur moms, Rainbow moms and every kind of girl and woman in between.

There are only 8 of these sessions available and I won't be able to offer more due to scheduling. These are some of my favorite sessions I have ever been able to offer. They are so timeless and soft and beautiful. Think all white studio with white draping and organic floral arrangements.
