Hawai'i ʻElepaio
*
One of the most beautiful endemic birds to Hawai'i, the ʻElepaio is an extremely curious bird that will often follow you out of curiousity. These monarch flycatchers are by far one of my favorite sightings visiting the island. 🌺

American Robin
*
One of the most iconic birds in North America, the American Robin is often overlooked due how common it is. This bird however, is one of the greatest generalists as it's able to thrive in almost any environment.

Gray Hawk
*
One of the most underrated birds of prey in North America. Despite their overall gray plumage, these birds are incredibly beautiful with their barring across the chest and bright yellow, hooked bills. 🌵

Great Horned Owl
*
Happy October friends! I encountered this stunning owl while walking through the woods with my friend . We had an incredible time spending time in the presence of one of the sky's most powerful creatures. 🦉

Lucifer Hummingbird
*
Not every photo has to be perfect, and that's certainly true for this one; but I just LOVE the chubby bumblebee in this shot visiting the hummingbird right at the feeder. Oh, and we also waited for over an hour for this guy to show up, so it was extra exciting to see him. 🐝

Crested Caracara
*
What an incredible way to finally meet this beautiful species. Crested Caracaras are actually falcons that behave much more like a vulture or even a hawk. These stunning creatures are one of the most unique birds I've ever encountered while birding. 🌵
