That last round of moisture is currently passing through southern california.
Orange county appears to be getting the worst of it. We have some rain here in running springs but shnoppler radar doesnt show a whole lot of action.

Law enforcement is in pursuit if more train robbers from the valley. Pursuit has made it from the valley up through devils canyon and now up into the san bernardino mountains west of crestline. The helicopters you may be seeing in the area are related to the incident. Stay out of the area as the are trying to box the suspects in and keep them from escaping into the mountain communities. There were multiple supects that took footbail with at least one in custody.

Hey Crestline, how are you all doing over there? U guys have been getting slammed with rain ALL night.

To everyone all over so cal... do NOT try and drive through flooded areas and areas of rushing water. You never know how deep the water is or how powerful the rushing water is. It can sweep away you and ur vehicle effortlessly.

Turn around dont drown!

GOOOOOOOD MORNING fellow fellows!

Things are looking good so far. As if 6 AM there has been nothing serious to report over night. Heavy rain gave us a pretty good dumping over night. Localized street flooding and some yard flooding seemed to be the extent of it. There wss one small to minor mud slide right at the top of live oak by hwy 18 that was blocking the upbound lane. It has since been mitigated. Hwy 330 and 18 have held nicely throughout the night and have remained abnormally uneventful for such a heavy rain event. Caltrans and county have done an incredible job keep the rock, mud and debris flows in check all night. Things are winding down. however there are still potent cells that continue to drift through the county and SB mountains. Highway 18 and 189 do have road flooding in various areas. They are very hard to identify in the heavy rain and fog so drive with caution. We are forecasted to get another burst of activity later this morning into the afternoon so dont let your guard down. I will have more for you all later today as the day continues to develop.
