Fire Fighters are making good progress on getting knock down. Power lines are down and they have some slight extention into the vegetation however forest service is mitigating the threat.

Mild temperatures will continue through the weekend as the ridge of high pressure continues to to receed.. enjoy it while it lasts as it will be short lived. Starting monday high pressure will began a fast and strong build through out california. All though we will not see EXTREME tempuratures, we will still see temps close to triple digits in the valleys, triple digits in the deserts and temps in the low to mid 80s in san bernardino mountains. Hot dry weather will continue lead to increased fire danger

There is a MASSIVE structure fire in los angeles putting up a monster black smoke column. With west south westerly winds there is a possibility we could get some drift smoke in the area later so dont panic
