I will be changing my website to a new location by the end of the month. The other site imagesbyraymond.com was getting too expensive to keep. Two questions. 1.) Let me know what you think about the new site. 2.) Do you think I should leave the Bio on the front page since I have it in the About me section? All spacings would look almost the same just with the Bio would be removed. Thanks in Advance.

IGUANAS-1. 127-24
SAINT MARTIN

I captured this massive iguana basking near the pier in Saint Martin on a rainy day. The entire cruise had been wet, but this brief moment of sunshine was perfect for the reptiles to soak up some warmth. I couldn’t resist snapping a photo. We encountered several other iguanas that same day, all lounging near the sidewalk in the area of the port. 1 of 2 photos of the iguana.

ROCKS & LEAVES. #123-23
BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY
This photo was taken during a family getaway along the Blue Ridge Parkway, where we stayed at several Airbnbs for a week of hiking and adventure. Once again, it rained throughout most of our trip. While hiking, I noticed my wife photographing the trail beneath our feet, and I was struck by the contrast, color, and emotion in the scene.
At one Airbnb, my wife was already in the room when I was unloading the luggage. She suddenly screamed for me to come in, and I thought, "She must have seen a cricket," since she’s terrified of them. But when I entered, she pointed to the walls and said, "Look!" To my surprise, four of my prints were hanging in the bedroom.
We reached out to the homeowner and had a nice chat via text. She shared that during a trip to Nashville, she had purchased my prints as souvenirs — the only thing she brought back from the city.

Since we all have snow on our mind....

MENDENHALL GLACIER #129-23
JUNEAU ALASKA
One of the most impressive cruises we’ve been on was to Alaska. Our ship ventured into a secluded, backwater area, and with modern technology, it performed two 360-degree rotations, ensuring that no matter where you were on the ship, you’d get a fantastic view of the glacier. The view was majestic and beautiful, and plenty of cameras were snapping photos. We also spotted a couple of eagles perched on floating ice and some otters swimming near the ship.
Another highlight of the trip was the train ride. After we ported, we hopped on a bus that took us into the Canadian Yukon. We had lunch before returning partway and boarding a train for the rest of the trip back to port. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend the train ride.
I kept hoping to spot some wildlife along the way but saw nothing—until, of course, I had my camera put away. About a mile from port, the engineer came over the speaker and announced, “Bear on the left,” with only seconds before we passed it. I couldn’t get my camera out in time. Oh well, you win some, you lose some.

BUG LIGHT-1. #125-24
SOUTH PORTLAND MAINE
As we travel, one of our favorite points of interest to seek out is lighthouses. Some make the cut for being print-worthy, while others just don’t. This one, however, stood out, likely due to the combination of rocks, sky, time of day, and the ocean. I captured it in both portrait and landscape formats because I love both perspectives.
While we were stopped here, we noticed a Ram camper van conversion in the parking lot. When we returned to our camper to leave, we took a moment to chat with the woman who owned it. She was a full-time van lifer, working remotely to support her lifestyle.

Lets get our minds off winter..

GRAYTON BEACH SUNSET #115-24
GRAYTON FLORIDA

I usually take a lot of sunset photos, beach photos, and beach sunset photos, but this is definitely one of my favorites. We drove down to deliver a few canvas prints to the Shacks Gallery in Seaside, near Grayton Beach, Florida, where we camped for a few days before heading back home. The next day we dropped off the prints at the gallery, then spent the day exploring the area. That evening, we went for a stroll along the beach just before sunset. It was September, windy, and there weren’t many people on the beach, which made for a perfect photo opportunity. The sunset and the beach were in perfect alignment for this shot.
The next day, the gallery sent me a message saying one of the canvas prints I delivered had already sold—and they could have sold it twice that day! A gentleman came into the gallery wanting to buy it, but left saying he’d be right back. While he was gone, someone else bought it. When he returned, it was gone! Looks

BOUYS #114-24
SCHOODIC POINT MAINE

As we were leaving our campground and heading to our next destination—one that Jenn had planned for us—I spotted these buoys hanging on a wall outside a store just a few miles down the road. I had to turn around and go back to get a photo. The store's main items for sale were these buoys. Jenn took a look around and ended up buying a couple small ones to take home. I keep having to remind her there’s only so much room in a Class B camper for souvenirs, but she always manages to find places to put everything.
