There's something special about capturing a family in their element. 🐎

But that second photo speaks volumes to me.

A husband and father, standing tall and keeping watch over the ones he loves most. While his girls walk confidently beside him, he's alert, present, and protective.

Sometimes the most powerful photographs aren't the perfectly posed ones, but the ones that tell a story without saying a word.

Sometimes I forget that I'm standing in what was once just a dream. I prayed for the opportunity to have my own studio, my own space to create, and clients who trust me to capture their memories. Now I'm living that answered prayer.

It's so easy to get caught up in what I haven't accomplished that I overlook everything God has already done. I still have so much to learn and so many goals I want to reach. But I never want my desire for more to overshadow my gratitude for what I already have.

I'm not where I want to be, but I'm standing somewhere I once prayed to be. And for that, I'm forever grateful.
